Puppy

Puppies sleep for 15 to 20 hours a day, but when they’re awake, they are playful and full of energy!

Horse

A baby horse is called a foal. Female foals are called fillies, and male foals are called colts. Foals can stand up and walk within one hour of being born.

Sloth

Baby sloths cling to their mothers for the first months of their lives. Some sloths live their entire lives in one tree, while others move to a nearby tree when old enough to leave their mothers.

Llama

A baby llama is called a cria, which is a Spanish word meaning “young” or “baby.” Mama llamas and crias use a humming sound to communicate with each other.

Caterpillar

Caterpillars eat as many leaves as they can until they are strong enough to build a cocoon around themselves. Inside the cocoon, they turn into goo…and then the goo grows into a butterfly!
