CLASS OF 2022 – YEARBOOK –

CARMEN ROSSALLIENSE Concinamus admirantes Propter fluctus aestuantes Stantem te, Rossallia! Alma mater, te bibamus Tui calices poscamus! Hanc sententiam dicamus “Floreat Rossallia”

‘Hi Sir, please can you come to the Sixth Form Centre URGENTLY. Izzy’s phone has fallen down the locker’ (Email from Ella Horvath, March 2022) It was whilst borrowing a screwdriver from the DT Department, to physically detach the lockers from the wall, to remove the phone that a certain other student had ‘accidentally’ dropped behind said lockers, that I realised the diverse and brilliant nature of my job.Yes, this was one of the more trivial moments in the year, but it summed up being a Director of Sixth Form in many ways. Although only having the pleasure of knowing you all for around ten months, it has been a great pleasure to work with and work for you, no matter how important (or unimportant) the work has been. Oh, there have been times of frustration picking pistachio shells and McDonald’s milkshake cups off the floor, chasing up those who had returned ‘for their books’ in the boarding house, the infamous PSHE lesson that 35 of you decided didn’t matter, listing mould-ridden mugs from around the coffee machine that you had all promised to keep clean, or repeatedly asking you to ‘pull up the blinds’ in the Sixth Form Centre, something which people never seemed to understand the importance of. But you see it really is important. It is not solely about people being able to see in, but instead about all of you on the inside looking out. Indeed, in many ways you are about to pull up the blind and see a world of new opportunities, a world of great promise, and a world of the unknown. It might be easier at times to shut the blinds and block out the chaos or uncertainty, the drama and tension, that comes from immersing ourselves in society, but really all that happens is we sit in darkness, inert and lacking in progress. Pulling up the blind can be scary, but it is also the thing that drives us forward and makes us better. Seeing our obstacles in the daylight removes the fear these obstacles create. I hope that one day, you will look back on your memories here, your friendships, the laughter and the tears; Covid; isolation; dancing to DJ Mist; and realise that the chapters you have been a part of, will shape the stories of your future. Oh yes - you can now grow a beard, get a skin fade, sleep in late, wear trousers without socks… but you will do so with a piece of Rossall embedded in you, with all the advantages that brings: life long contacts; an Old Rossallian community; an independent education. I want to thank you all for your support this year and I wish we had longer together to learn from each other. You can rest assured that you have left a significant imprint on my vision for the future of the Sixth Form, and I hope you will continue to support the school over the coming years. I am immensely proud of you all and am so excited to see you embark on the next adventure. Be brave, take risks, challenge the wrongs in the world, support each other, stay in touch. And lift up the damn blind.

Nick Crombie

DIRECTOR OF SIXTH FORM

It has been my very great privilege to get to know you all during your time at Rossall. Whether that has been as part of your IB journey, your Chemistry studies in Sixth Form or Year 11, as your form tutor, as a member of Dolphin, or the Rossall community in various performances, sporting fixtures or one of the other many ways in which you have all contributed to this school, I have enjoyed every minute. For those of you that studied for the IB Diploma it has been an absolute pleasure to help you all through this last year. Each and every one of you should be very proud of all that you have achieved. You have completed your studies during very uncertain times, facing disruption to your normal ways of learning, but you have all come through it with a fantastic sense of accomplishment and achievement. Some of you may have contributed to the acceleration of the ever-greying of my hair (hair dye, and the chemistry behind it, are wonderful things) but the definition of a deadline is hopefully now engrained in all of you and I am sure you will now never fail to meet one in the future! For those of you that I have taught I will remember our lessons with great fondness. You may never use a Bunsen burner again but hopefully a little piece of Chemistry will stay with you forever. Enjoy the next stage of your journey. Embrace all of the opportunities that come your way and always remember to be kind. Flerovium oxygen rhenium astatine

DOLPHIN HOUSEPARENT: Sharon and Sean Wright FURRY FAMILY: Bonnie and Clyde DEPUTY HOUSEPARENT: Jess Riley HOUSE CAPTAIN: Emma Do

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” – Barack Obama ‘Be a house parent’, they said……….’It will be fun’, they said………… How right they were! The highs, the lows, the inbetweens; they all add up to one incredible and amazing adventure, the hardest part of which is saying goodbye! It is nearly impossible to sum up our 2 years together in a few short paragraphs and while I was planning some meaningful words I decided to start with some research about Dolphins. Aside from their permanent smile, Dolphins are sociable and playful, their happiest when in groups and they establish strong social bonds. What better way to sum up the class of 2022. Individually; A special and huge thank you to Emma, our House Captain you rose so admirably to the challenge of a busy and active house, thank you for your patience, enthusiasm and for helping us build an incredible family of Dolphinas; Bonnie has her suitcase packed and we all look forward to seeing you very soon. Samantha, thank you for making me smile every day, your enthusiasm for most things, your passionate beliefs and your great sense of humour have made a huge impact on all our lives. Wherever life takes you, always remember; don’t blow in the dog’s face and sometimes it really is better to ask for permission. Cait, what can I say? We made it, nobody was asked not to stay and I have learnt that a Dolphin can squeeze through the smallest of gaps. You have been the greatest of fun in the house, you have kept us on our toes, and Dolphin won’t ever be the same without the Mean Girls in all their glory. Kathryn, my most special memory of you is seeing how beautiful you looked in your traditional Vietnamese dress, though I will also never forget you trying to persuade Mai to wear your heels for the ball. Strangely however, I have fewer memories of you checking for bedtime! Dan, sadly we didn’t get to spend much time together, however it was lovely to see you back this year. I am so pleased you returned to be a Dolphin. Ella, we only really got the chance to spend time together in house in year 13. I will always remember heading into the music room to see who was playing the piano and realising it was you! I knew you were funny and clever and kind but never that you were a talented pianist as well! Izzy, I was primed and excited to meet Izzy Wright the day I came to Rossall. My namesake and ‘niece’. Your enthusiasm and support in house, particularly for house singing and getting the sports teams together have been amazing. I have no doubt that were it not for you we would have fewer trophies! Back to my research; I also learnt that Dolphins form friendship bonds that last for many years. Which means this isn’t ‘goodbye’, but instead, ‘I know we will speak soon’. In the meantime, to each and every one of you, thank you, for filling our home with love and life, for making us smile, for welcoming us into your lives and for sharing the highs and lows with us. We will miss your presence, your friendship and your laughter in the office. As you move to the next stage of your lives Dolphinas of 2022; stay unfiltered and wherever life takes you, keep learning, keep growing, keep smiling. Most importantly always remember - in all of your hopes and dreams, fears and bravery, successes and failures, beauty and brokenness………..each one of you is perfect, just as you are, in the moment you are in. YOU ARE ENOUGH

What a year it has been, my first as your Houseparent. I have been very lucky to have had such a wonderful and able Year 13 to show us (and me) the way. The House spirit and community stems from the top, as such I have very much enjoyed witnessing how the Y13s, in particular the monitor team, have allowed the House to gell; collectively you have ensured the House is compassionate, supportive and has a real sense of humour, this is all cemented with a real esprit de corps which you ensure all pupils regardless of age and tenure buy in to. There will be much I will miss from you: our University Challenge events, where Oscar and Elias invariably proved how incredibly intelligent they are; Seb and Simon consistently shouting at the TV whilst watching their beloved Liverpool and arguing with anyone who dared suggest that Liverpool might not be the greatest team on the planet; Abdo and Younes decimating the 1st Aid box for the smallest of ailments, I trust wherever your football takes you, you will each keep the physio very busy; the never changing dress code of a vest and shorts of Ricky; the never changing dress code of Wish’s Hawaiian shirt collection; Ade’s calm and humour; Pacey’s relaxed leadership style and his desire to spend most of prep in the Golf Academy; Fogo’s sudden emergence as a ‘gamer’; Jacko’s calm and good natured presence extolling us of his latest gym skills. Collectively, I enjoyed watching you each represent the House with distinction at House rugby, badminton, football, FIFA and our coming together with ‘Take On Me’ which we all know we should have won....lastly I shall forever remember Pip’s handstand fail and his efforts trying to beat the 1K row challenge. I believe that wherever you all go, you will always make sure that you make your teachers and peers proud. As your Houseparent I am extremely happy that I got to be part of your journey which arguably has just begun. I want to remind you that the door of MC will forever be open and I wish you every success on your next journey, be it at university, professional sport, an apprenticeship or whatever other path you might wish to follow; continue to build strong and healthy relationships while having fun. Remember, manners maketh the man; say please and thank you and be on time.

I can’t quite believe it. Another year has passed and it is time to say goodbye to another group of Y13 leavers. And whilst it seems to have drifted into the annals of history, it would seem strange not to make reference to the Pandemic. Whilst this year has seen a sense of normality return, for all of you, half of your Sixth Form life was defined by constant restrictions. Some of you have barely been able to return home. And it is, for this reason, why we have grown so close as a family in your home from home. Thankfully, this year has meant an end to the ‘virtual classroom.’ We all hated those online lessons. It has seen the return of some of our favourite events. The 8th place at House Singing was a highlight. Nothing quite like changing the song at the 23rd hour. House sporting events such as House Football. The best looking team, despite finishing towards fourth, or possibly fifth. Mihir and Andrew (The Silent Debater) taking us to the Semi Final of the debating competition was exciting. Let’s hope Ben and Oscar can do you proud in the latter stages. It has been an incredibly special year for me personally. After all the ups and downs of the past 18 months, this was the year that both Miss Savage and I got married. We were touched by your welcome and it brought both of us to tears. Walking through that door to our home to see you all was wonderful. It is exactly why we do this job. These relationships that have been built over the years that we’ve lived together will last a lifetime. Houseparenting is so much more than just a job. It is a way of life and it has been a pleasure to do it with you all (even when you may have had a drink or two too many). I must also thank the incredible people who have worked tirelessly alongside me throughout this year and beyond. Val - she is a true icon, hero and legend with Mitre Fleur-de-Lys. She is the life and soul of this house. You might never truly appreciate the amount that she has done for you over the years alongside Linda, Jade and Joyce. Mr Yow has also added so much during his two years in the house. He has supported me immensely and I am truly grateful for this. But now, I must move onto talking about you. I honestly can say it has been an absolute pleasure. Getting to know you all and seeing you grow up, mature and develop has been wonderful. I can’t wait to see and hear about all that you go on to achieve. You are an incredibly diverse group of people with such a broad range of interests and this has certainly allowed us to have some wonderful conversations in the office. You may not quite realise it just yet, but the memories you have made during your time at Rossall will endure. I know you are excited about the next stage of your life, and for good reason. I know many of you probably just ‘cannot wait to leave.’ But if I had £1 for every time you said this, I would be a rich man. I know you will look back on your time here with great fondness and you will reminisce with each other when a few years have passed by. But it is time for you to look ahead. Look ahead to the incredibly exciting opportunities that you have in front of you. Take every single one that comes your way because you might never get that second chance to. And so to Nabil, Luke, Mihir, Shawn, Angus, Piotr, Andrew, Ollie, Shaun and Isaac. Thank You and Good Luck. I wish you all the very best for your future. Please stay in touch and come back to visit soon. And I will leave you with two quotes from the great tennis player, Arthur Ashe: “Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.” “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”

Mr Roberts

HOUSEPARENTS: Mark and Kerstin Dixon HOUSE CAPTAIN: Harry Sutton

Your last year in Pelican and our first year in Pelican has come to an end, and it has been so much fun and such an honour to get to know you; and it is such a pleasure to wish you only the very best for a bright, successful and happy future. Harry, Blake, Connor, Henry, Stepan, Benji, Chris, Zhiyang, Taiga, Farhan, Jackson and Eugenio - you are a league of extraordinary Pelicans and will go so very far in life. One by one, we have to say good-bye to you - and for every single one of you, that’s the end of your era in Pelican. Thank you for teaching us the ropes of the House and the school. Max, John, Hugo, Dean - the best day-students we could wish for. Thank you for showing the young day-Pelicans what it means to be part of the House and supporting the House so brilliantly. When we first met the House on zoom, Harry said Pelican is the best house - not just because you all like to win, but because you all talk to everyone, accept everyone, enjoy everyone’s company. He was right, of course, and we are thoroughly grateful that you allowed us to become your Houseparents and partake in the brilliant Pelican House Spirit. Your endurance and team-spirit at House Cross Country was inspiring, your performance at House Singing was unforgettable and undeniably ‘beautiful’, your engagement in House competitions of every sort phenomenal, and, of course, your fight for the House Football Cup unbreakable - you have made Pelican the unbeatable House. Pelican will not be the same without you. It will feel empty in so many different ways. And yet, you have left your own unique marks - in walls, kitchens, rooms, and, most importantly, in what makes Pelican Pelican: You have filled the house with your energy, your vibe, your enthusiasm, your ideas and your leadership, and we will miss every single one of you so much. Don’t ever stop being Pelican-pink and don’t ever lose your Pelican-spirit, because (to finish with the words of your House Song 2022): That’s what makes you beautiful!

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” – A.A. Milne (Winnie-the-Pooh) What a fabulous year it has been! Plenty of ups and downs but we all helped each other through and to share the experiences with such a great group of Roses made it very special. Your positivity and kindness has echoed throughout the house and we are all going to really miss having you around. From quarantine and twice-weekly covid tests to dancing the night away in Mondos and at the Leavers Ball - what a whirlwind; this final year has flown by!

Tatsi - Monitor. Friendly and helpful, thank-you for making our new students feel at home. Our house maths expert - who will we ask for help now? Lexie - Great to see you around campus, always with a smile, would have loved to see more of you in the house. Very best wishes for the future. Millie - Monitor. Thoughtful and helpful, a very efficient monitor. Thank you for everything you did for Rose House - the office will be empty without you each evening. Hannah - Determined, thoughtful academic and with a beautiful singing voice too. A bright future lies ahead - I have no doubt! Mary - Monitor. From your very first day here I knew you were a truly amazing person and would be a perfect Rose. So proud that you were our School Captain and probably the most positive person I’ve ever met; we will try to keep your spirit alive in Rose. Thank you for everything! Nhi - Kind and charming, helpful and funny. We will really miss having you around Rose House and Stella will miss you too. Kate - I always knew you as a Rose and it’s a shame there wasn’t the opportunity to get involved in the house more but it was good to see you and speak to you around school (and at Gochu!) Good luck in all you do! Carmen - Deputy House Captain. One of my original roses, you helped me to get to know the house when I started as a Houseparent - thank you. A great friend to many girls and a positive influence around the house, especially grateful for being the lockdown hairdresser, good luck for a fantastic future.. Thumbel - Our amazing artist! I’ve loved seeing you grow in confidence and bloom during your time at Rossall. We will all miss you but Stella will really miss having you in the house. Cherry - possibly the quietest boarder ever but never any trouble, attended every roll, always polite and the first to tick in for the night. Very best wishes for the future. Mollie - Bubbly and friendly. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you as a member of Rose House. Wishing you every success for your future. Xavana - Fabulous musician and a great addition to the house. Sorry we couldn’t enjoy hearing your piano playing in house as much as we would have liked. Very best wishes for the future. Henrike - House Captain and Dancing Queen. The house will be emptier without you (no, really… how many cushions did you have?!) Social butterfly, kind-hearted and in charge of brew - so important to the heart (and stomachs) of Rose House. House Mondos nights will continue but the original lockdown ones will never be forgotten. We will miss you! Emily - House Captain and Debating Queen. Diligent, academic, motivated, resilient and always willing to help. Thank-you for leading the house by example. We will miss your drive and enthusiasm and promise to continue the Rose Valentine’s Charity for the Malala Fund that you set up. A true Rossalian! Saying goodbye is never easy but knowing that you have amazing new beginnings and bright futures ahead makes me very proud. Remember, once a Rose, always a Rose! Thank you for the wonderful memories, please stay in touch and very best wishes.

You did it, and we are ever grateful for your hard work and commitment. You have never shied away from the challenge, and you have always led by calm example. We are a quiet house, but no less strong when it matters and you have helped to nurture that in all Eagles, great and small. We faced the storm, as Eagles do, and are stronger for it. Thank you.

HOUSEPARENTS: Nicola Pentelow and David Newell Lena Pentelow-Newell DEPUTY HOUSEPARENTS: Neil Cushley TUTORS: Matt Hall, Hugh Fitzherbert Brockholes, Andrew Love, Ed Einsiedler, Ben Clark, Richard Moore HOUSE CAPTAIN: Emil Adjei DEPUTY HOUSE CAPTAIN: Chris-Enoch Onwochei MONITORS: Sohan Reddivari, Nathan Layne, Ryo Kamata

Chris Onwochei - Whether still or in high action, this eagle is entirely dedicated to his cause. One whose moments of high energy have been filled with dancing and fun - you have made us laugh a lot; and whose quiet focus and dedication to study have been equally remarkable. You are an individual of significant natural talent - use that wingspan; there’s mileage in it. Sohan Reddivari - The gentleman of the house - Sohan, your impeccable manners and attention to the finer details have made you a delight to have around. And you have been around for longer than anyone - not even a global pandemic could shake your commitment; who else would stay behind and decorate the boarding house?! Wonderful memories. Nathan Layne - Our wise Eagle. We might have lost you for a moment there Nathan and we are all so happy that you came through and returned to the perch. There’s space under our wing for Eagles of all sizes when they need us, and we are proud that you now take others under yours. Thank you for speaking up when it mattered and for your good counsel - rare and precious gifts; use them.

Ryo Kamata - Tea, Ryo? We will miss seeing you in and out of the house, golf bag on your back and impeccably smart no matter the oddness of the hour. Your calm, polite and diligent approach has been a wonderful guide to younger boarders. Thank you for your commitment, and please may I have my teapot back. Max Renshaw - You dropped onto our perch with all the calmness of a worldly traveller, and nothing has worried you since (although this carefree attitude has sometimes come at a cost to others - you may apologise to your mother!). It’s been a delight to have you around and we will miss your particular brand of breezy optimism. Oddly enough, I don’t worry about you; you know the right distance from the sun. Joe Hunter - The challenger. It’s an important skill to be able to ask the difficult questions, and you are well practised (you’re welcome!). Out there, we know you will pick your battles wisely and be a positive force for good. We have always been impressed by your diligent and committed pursuit of excellence - we should have known; it’s all in the name. But not everyone is prey Joe, and we have also seen the lovely gentle way you can teach others - perhaps it’s all about balance, after all; you are poised for flight! Philipp Schnell - A nester. This eagle landed and spent the next three years feathering his nest (more of a bower bird?!). A home-bird, certainly - with the friendships and connections you have made here, since day one, you have never flown far from the perch and we are sure we will regularly be welcoming you back to the family (if we can find the room, with all this stuff…!). Ferik Xu - Quietly loyal, this bird - a reliable, dependable one; you preserve your energy for the moments that matter and you have excelled in those moments. We are proud of the way you have handled the many challenges of your Spread Eagle years and we know you will do well out there; start stretching those wings - you’re going to need them. Jordon Hubbard - This is a tale of a homecoming. From tentative movements at the edge of the aerie, we are so happy you have become well and truly a fully fledged Eagle. We will miss the early signin, the nightly philosophising, the chess games and the friend you have become to so many. We know you have vision far beyond this place; let yourself soar, but keep your eyes trained on your goals, and remember we’re always here. John Zhang - Eagles are often difficult to spot, and ‘remote’ took on a whole new layer of meaning for a while there. You came into view again more recently and we have been happy to see you back in your old territory. We hope you will give us a glimpse of your future successes from time to time. Felix Mistry - Thank you, Felix, for bringing such an injection of positive energy! Your ‘bounce’ is infectious and we have been delighted to have you back in the house after so long. Keep smiling; it matters to others more than you might realise. We are super proud of you; we know you will fly high and continue to inspire. Harry Platt - Supremely talented and impressively understated; you have been a source of inspiration to everyone and a wonderful ambassador for quiet ambition. You may be proud of your achievements, Harry, because we know you won’t also be conceited. Continue to be ambitious, because we know you won’t also be selfish. Thank you for sharing your music with us; it has made all the difference. Tim Woodman - We lost sight of you for a time Tim, but you were never far from the perch and we have been so happy to have you back with us. Thank you for always being ready to put on the house colours (in spirit, at least!) and to represent the house that probably didn’t feel at all the same place as when you left it as a boy in Year 11. A loyal Eagle - thank you for coming back to us, and for giving us some time before leaving, quite the gentleman. Harry Gordon - We are proud of you Harry, for everything you have worked at and achieved, particularly over this final academic year. Your sustained commitment to the wider life of the school has been impressive and we are grateful that you have been an inspiration for aspiring singers and musicians both in chapel and on the stage. You have shown others that it is possible to be successful both in sport and music, and to commit to more than one pursuit. Stay open to opportunity, nurture those talents - and you will fly. Myles Davies - We have seen less of you than we would have liked, Myles, but we are safe in the knowledge that you have been busy with noble pursuits and we have had to be happy to set you free, as a senior monitor, to do good works and make a difference. You may be proud of your achievements - thank you for being an immaculate role-model. Bailey Scarborough - Always a nurturing member of this big family - thank you for taking the time to look after the little ones and for your beautiful manners; you are the model of good social graces and someone from whom we can all learn. Thank you for being a quiet inspiration.

Miss Pentelow & Mr Newell

In Britain, a cup of tea is the answer to every problem. Fallen off your bicycle? Nice cup of tea. Your house has been destroyed by a meteorite? Nice cup of tea and a biscuit. Your entire family has been eaten by a Tyrannosaurus Rex that has travelled through a space/time portal? Nice cup of tea and a piece of cake. David Walliams, “Mr Stink” Tea and biscuits have featured heavily in Wren House life this year. We have enjoyed tea and biscuits every Wednesday, considered carefully our choices in the World Cup of Biscuits*, and snaffled a few sweet treats from the monitors-only biscuit supply in the office. They have brought us together when we might have had a bad day, when we’re feeling lonely or stressed, or when we’ve got good news to share or a football match to watch. Whilst they may offer a great deal of comfort and delight in a challenging year, there’s so much more in Wren that pulls us through, holds up together as a family, and maintains our house spirit, and much of that is down to you - the Wren House Leavers of 2021/22. To thank each and every one of you for your dedication and support in the House, and for being true Wrenners, here you are, in biscuit form…

Milica Cetkovic - Jaffa Cake - Is it a biscuit or a cake? Who cares, it’s a winner! Never afraid of a controversy or standing up for what she believes is right, Milica leads from the front, showing some zing and a soft, squidgy side when needed. Tess Young - Jammie Dodger - Solid and strong on the outside, but with a soft fruity centre, Tess can always be relied upon to put her CCF skills into play to keep us in order, but never shies away from showing us her inner rebel. Tineka Jennings - Shortbread - The strong, buttery biscuit base that holds up all the others, Tineka epitomises what it means to be a leader and a role model, commanding respect and admiration from Wrenners and Rossalians alike. Melissa Baines - Bourbon - The Wrenners’ favourite biscuit, Music Captain Melissa faced a tonne of pressure from up-and-coming House Singing competitors, but as a topclass traditional biscuit, she used her Rossalian knowledge to help us win! Lucy Moss - Ginger Nut - If you want to spice up your life, you need a Lucy Moss! Always there with a funny story, a weird question or to fall over for our entertainment, Mossibop is totally nutty and just what we need to cheer us up on a rainy, Rossall day. Sakura Saito - Fig Roll - The unsung hero in the biscuit world, Sakura started the year seemingly shy and unimposing but soon came out of her shell when instructing Wrenners for the House Singing dance. Full of fun, laughter and care, Sakura is a gem. Doireann O’Shaughnessy - Biscoff - A recent addition to the biscuit scene, just as Doireann was a late entry to the monitor team. Doireann has been the mother hen in the house, keeping everything ship-shape and maintaining the peace and quiet on the top floor. Sophia Singleton - Party Ring - Ain’t no party like a Sophia Singleton party, she’s always ready to bring the fun and make sure everyone has a space to let loose. We’re sure she’ll take the fiesta spirit with her when she heads to university! Chloe Chen - Viennese Whirl - The posh biscuit that always impresses, Chloe is a stylish lady with a heart of gold to boot. We’re so glad she could make it to Rossall this year…so we could try out her make up and skincare products! Georgia Oldham - Chocolate Round - The chocolate digestive’s single layer of chocolate just isn’t enough…just like the chocolate round, Georgia always offers more than you’re expecting and packs a strong biscuit bite when you need to get a project off the ground. Summer He - Pink Wafer - A delicate, pretty classic, Summer has wowed us with her cute and fluffy novelty dressing gowns this year and hope she will be blessed with similarly fantastic loungewear in her future. Mia Su - Snowball - Our giggly girl, just like the snowball is a squidgy ball of marshmallow, Mia is an absolute sweetheart. She also brings her A-game in the world of cool and cute dressing gowns, even wearing them to collect Saturday takeaway! Candice Wang - Amaretti - Classy and adaptable, Candice is graceful in how she behaves and speaks to others and shows quiet strength in facing challenges. We can definitely imagine her sipping coffee on a Roman piazza, dressed in Italian couture! Afaf, Fajer and Israa Harrak - Oreos - Fun-size biscuits that you can’t get enough of, “The Triplets” are much-loved members of the Wren gang, always arriving to house with lots of energy and a big smile on their faces. Mai Dinh - Malted Milk - The biscuit you have as a kid with a glass of milk, Mai is a totally chilled Wrenner who could nap at any given moment. Don’t let that sleepy exterior fool you though, we all saw her tear it up on the Leavers’ Ball dancefloor! Eva Helmke and Julia Schilling - Caramel digestive - What makes an better duo than chocolate and caramel?! Julia and Eva of course! Inseparable friends from Day One, we hope their solid friendship keeps on long into the future.
