Welcome to the latest copy of Inspire magazine and I hope you’ll find plenty in the next few pages to offer inspiration. Hasn’t this been a roller coaster year? The property market was buzzing for the first three months until Covid-19 struck and we all went into lockdown. I’m proud to say that all of the Henry Adams branch managers continued to work from home, nurturing sales through so our clients could move home and even agreeing a few new sales under extraordinary circumstances. We expected an increase in pent-up demand when our offices reopened in May but even we have been surprised at the strong and sustained levels of both new enquiries and new instructions - and the resulting sales we’ve been agreeing for our clients. The Stamp Duty holiday, saving buyers up to £15,000, has also made a significant impact, as has the renewed focus on work/life balance with more people moving out from London and the home counties to enjoy the coast and countryside on our doorstep.
