FIVE REASONS PENN STATE STUDENTS ENJOY LIVING ON CAMPUS

1

Community. Friends.

#

DIVERSE. INCLUSIVE. NEIGHBORS. LIFELONG FRIENDS. Meet new people and build lifelong friendships by living on campus. Students from across the state, country, and world, with different interests and goals, become neighbors and friends. Each residence building is a community large enough for students to find their niche and expand their interests, yet small enough to recognize faces and feel at home. Friendships are an important part of the college experience, and living on campus is where it all begins.

“I’ve experienced a strong sense of community and formed meaningful bonds with people that persist to this day. I met some of my dearest friends and will be forever grateful for the experience.” –Paige

“It’s more than just a place to stay; it’s a vital part of my journey through higher education.” –Ella

New Experiences.

LIVING ON CAMPUS MEANS UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES.

Live the tradition and create a unique college experience with lifelong friends! Living on campus provides endless opportunities to broaden horizons, expand interests, and develop new skills. A Penn State tradition unlike any other - activities, events, clubs, and programs are available at every turn.

Amenities. LIVING ON CAMPUS IS EASY.

Cooks prepare every meal and staff clean and maintain living spaces. There are laundry services in each hall, and free WiFi from any building on

campus. Each room comes complete with a standard bed, dresser, and desk

setup. Also, all amenities come with no hidden fees or monthly costs – room rates are all-inclusive. Quiet study spaces and group-project collaboration areas offer study spaces without having to walk outside.

Everything is nearby, easy to access, and covered by the housing and food services contract.

Safety

A safe and secure environment for living

and learning is a priority at all of Penn State

campuses. With that, a safe, comfortable living space means more time for studying, learning, working, and playing. Staff work endlessly to ensure spaces are clean, well-maintained, and meet every safety regulation. Live-in staff at every hall are also on-hand for 24/7 coverage.

Resident advisors are there to help and to listen when students are struggling with living away from home.

Convenient. LIVING ON CAMPUS AT PENN STATE IS CONVENIENT. Living on campus is a tradition that puts students in the middle of all things Penn State, while giving complete independence. Students have everything at their fingertips: a comfortable room ready for just the right personal touch and common spaces to study, relax, and socialize. Everything is just steps away too – classes, libraries, computer labs, recreational areas, and spots to eat and hang out. Campus living sets the stage for the perfect combination of work

and play.

“I love being close to downtown, as well as close to places like the HUB, classroom buildings, and the gym. If I didn’t live on campus, these things would be much more difficult to access.” –Kayla
