He received a BFA in printmaking from Northern Arizona University and earned his MFA at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. We will continue our study of the Italic Hand and focus on refining our letters and exploring variations with new pen turns and angle changes. ARTS 3D Arts Basics of Glass Fusing Create a beautiful, unique piece of glass art while learning glass fusing and related techniques. In the first two sessions, you will learn to cut and grind glass to create a piece to hang in the window or on the wall, along with the concepts of compatible glass. ARTS BEB C. REYNOL Beb is a photojournalist and documentary photographer. He has concentrated his work in South and Central Asia, crossing borders that separate Pakistan from Afghanistan. Since 1999, Beb has worked alongside Afghan photojournalists for AINA Media, a French NGO contributing to independent media development. He has trained, coordinated and assisted local photographers on assignments including a UNICEF anti-child-labor photo campaign while producing a documentary of his own called Forced Destiny.

LANGUAGE SUSAN SOLA Susan has a B.A. in Spanish Literature and an M.B.A. in Finance. She lived in Mexico for ten years, where she taught English to Mexican students at a bi-national center; she has also taught English to local immigrants and Spanish to Seattle secondary students. Susan is a writer, translator and interpreter, and is active in Hispanic cultural and social activities, including a Rotary project to support education for disadvantaged youth in Mexico City and a Chilean literary project to benefit minority and unpublished writers.

LANGUAGE SARKA FALTINOVA Sarka was born in the Czech Republic, grew up in Slovakia and moved to North America 11 years ago. She started studying foreign languages in grade 4. At the age of 14, she added English to her language mix, and she hasn’t stopped studying it ever since. She has earned a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature specialized in TESOL, from Comenius University, Slovakia and a TESOL Certificate in Canada. Sarka has been teaching English for over 15 years. She has taught in Slovakia, Holland, Canada and the US. Teaching is her greatest passion. Sarka’s classes balance hard work with fun interactive activities and tasks.
