Resident Rates Edmonds residents receive a discount on programs offered. The prices listed on each class will have a resident and nonresident rate. Resident rate will be listed first for each class.

Refunds Full refunds will be given for classes cancelled by the Parks & Recreation Office. Refunds must be requested at least 7 business days before the 1st scheduled meeting date. All refunds will incur a $10 administrative fee per registration.

The City of Edmonds is thrilled to announce the re-envisioning of the Summer Day Camp program! Serving youth entering grades 2-6, participants will have the opportunity to engage in positive activities that promote self-awareness, responsible decision making, and relationship skills through art, games, environmental education and fun activities. Based out of the Frances Anderson Center Field, this camp will take advantage of the close proximity to a number of local Edmonds parks. Visiting the waterfront, spray park, and nature trails will take center stage. Edmonds Discovery Programs Staff will play a weekly role in providing environmental education opportunities while highlighting the beautiful natural surroundings of Edmonds. Camp will be split into two groups, grades 2-3 and grades 4-6. Program will meet at the Frances Anderson Center Field. Scholarships are available. Click here to access the form.

Camps run weekly for 10 weeks beginning June 27. Participants must register for each week separately. June 27 - July 1 July 5- 8 (4-day week, discounted rate) July 11-15 July 18-22 July 25-29 August 1-5 August 8-12 August 15-19 August 22-26 August 29 - Sept 2

Landscapes, animals, people...this drawingbased art education program uses a simple drawing method and weekly format where students produce unique works of art using a wide variety of artist quality mediums of which they will have their own set to use during the entire session. Students will learn to think creatively, expand their drawing skills, and become more confident in self-expression, all while having fun in a non-competitive environment of encouragement and artistic inspiration. Green Stage Location: Amphitheater @ FAC

Pee Wee Shakespearians - Ages 5-8 Green Stage uses creative dramatics, games, and art to bring your child into the imagination of Shakespeare's world. Participants will explore several short pieces of his plays and learn about getting into character, figure out how to tell a story as part of a group, learn a few phrases in the original language, and discover the joys of performing. Youth Shakespeare Camp “Much Ado About Nothing” - Ages 9-16 Students will memorize and perform a cutting of Shakespeare’s play, “Much Ado About Nothing.” Besides working on acting, students will play games while learning to speak and understand Shakespeare's language. Shakespeare Improv Camp - Ages 11-16 Using Shakespeare's words and stories as a starting point, students will create their own play by twisting famous plotlines and characters into a kind of "Fakespeare"! Students will create this parody together using improv and playwriting techniques to shape their own unique play. Youth Intensive Shakespeare Camp "Hamlet" - Ages 11-16 Students will take a deep dive into learning Shakespeare as they create a production of the play, “Hamlet.” Participants will train in some combat with basic swordplay, play some games; and fashion some set pieces. Beach Camp at Sunset Bay Day Camp - Grades 2nd – 5th The Sunset Bay Wharf’s one-of-a-kind watersports and marine science summer camp is the most fun on the water this side of Hawaii! With a half-acre wharf, miles of sandy beach, and almost every imaginable watercraft, kids learn the basics of paddle boarding, sailing, canoeing, skim boarding, snorkeling, and more, all while learning what makes our saltwater marine ecosystem tick. Youth Steelband Intensive - Ages 10-18 Join internationally known steel pan artist and local teacher, Gary Gibson, to learn music fundamentals (rhythm, melody, harmony) and proper steel pan techniques.
