That’s the challenge faced by celebrities in this intense new adventure reality format, which has taken Sweden by storm, boosting the coveted 12-59 target audience by more than 50%. Divided into two teams, the contestants are blindfolded, and dropped into some of the most remote locations on earth. With no food, no map, and no help, they must make their way through unforgiving landscapes, in a race to find civilisation. Which team will be first? And which team will have to face-off in an elimination round? Surrounded by dangers, the teams must navigate their way through a hostile and alien land; nature, red in tooth and claw. A daily radio message from the show’s host is their only indication as to how far they’ve gone. Relying on their instincts, the two teams must make their way towards what they hope will be an inhabited area, so they can call a helicopter to whisk them to another awe-inspiring location. The team left behind, still far from home, must do battle in a series of challenges to determine which of them will be leaving the show. After a gruelling trek through the untamed wilderness, it’s the last thing they want to do, but someone must go. As the series progresses, and they travel the globe, the contestants are eliminated one-by-one. In the season finale, only four remain. A classic antiques show with a game show twist, Secret Dealers is the ultimate test of how much your prized possessions really mean to you. In each episode, three antiques experts are invited into two homes to put a price on anything they want. There are special pieces of jewellery and family heirlooms that the owner thought might be worth something, but the dealers might also have an eye on contemporary designer goods or holiday souvenirs. The experts each put a hidden price tag on the item, which can mean bidding against the other dealers. The owners then return to decide what is to be kept and sold.
