ZEEKO’s R & D office is proud to announce the release of the latest evolution of the ‘Alloy Series’ hydrofoil: The SPITFIRE Hydrofoil. This foil is a revolution in terms of design. The totally innovative geometry allows you to taste the joys of an hydrofoil with surfboarding f eeling. The Spitfire is the fruit of years of R & D geared towards fun. After developing a range of freeride foil wings, we have created the Carver wings and with the Spitfire we took it to a higher level and made a total breakthrough in design. Our goal was simple: introduce a foil with the best control in the curves and a carving potential beyond standard. Foil case supplied with the hydrofoil

For that, it was necessary to find a geometry creating the same feeling as a surfboard, to have a foil that does not stall during hard turns. This development has brought additional characteristics: the foil is more docile during the falls, is faster in light winds, has an incredible upwind ability all this with wings 30% smaller. New innovative, efficient and safe design

A conventional foil has a larger front wing and a smaller rear stabilizer. In case of Spitfire it is the exact opposite, the rear wing is larger and both wings creates lift. This setup is more efficient in generating power. Wings are 30% smaller while retaining the same lift, and therefore a same low end as a traditional solution. This ensures gain in maneuverability, better efficiency in the light winds and an unprecedented riding pleasure. In addition, during falls, thanks to the rear wing being the most powerful one, the foil never tends to fly away. It slowdowns gently to the surface of the water. The safety gain is incredible.


Extrem carving capacity The geometry of the hydrofoil, as well as the absence of winglets or any vertical fin, make the hydrofoil ultra-manoeuvrable. In addition, this increased maneuverability is more easily usable. This is achieved thru ÂŤcanardÂť geometry which makes it possible to have an displacement of the center of lift towards the rear foot during the curves. This results in a control leaded by the rear foot during the turn, like a surfboard, which makes the control in extreme turns unmatched.

Excellent upwind The effectiveness of the canard set-up is due to the fact that the 2 wings (front and back wings) create a positif lift. Thus even if the 2 wings are smaller, they creates the same amount of positif lift, the hydrofoil has less drag, this results in a higher efficiency and an unbeatable upwind ability.

Hydrofoil dedicated to wave riding and jumping The Spitfire is a hydrofoil dedicated to carving and waveriding. Its small surface wings set-up allow a great acceleration essential for any jump takeoff. In addition, the larger rear wing allows a smooth landing of the jumps. During bottom turns and off the lips, sometimes the front wing pulls out of water which leads to unstable behavior and even wipeouts. In case of SPITFIRE the front wing is not the main one, therefore you keep everything under control in all circumstances.


Feeling of carving similar to a surfboard The front wing is smaller than the rear wing, in short turns, the control of the hydrofoil is natural and ideal. Indeed, like surfing or snowboarding in the powder, the most natural control is driven by the back foot pressure. The conventional hydrofoil designs demands increased front foot pressure in curves - here it is the opposite. We gain precision and especially power while turning.

New fast mounting plate The Spitfire foil has been designed to facilitate easier connection to the board. No need to completely unscrew the 4 fixing screws. It is enough to loosen the two front ones by 1/4 of turn and to undo the 2 back ones, and the hydrofoil is disassembled. The plate is compatible with all boards on the market, 2 stances of screws are usable: 165X90mm or 160X85mm


Standard and XLW wings With its surface of 590cm2, standard wings are 30% smaller than those of a classic kitefoil, for the same power. Those wings allow to fly at steady speed (up to 30 knots) and ride waves of 1,5m and more, with a maximum control.

XLW wings -for Xtra Light Wings- are 800cm2 of surface. It allows you to start planning earlier and fly at lower speeds. In this way, XLW wings are suitable to kiteboarders wishing to ride in low wind conditions, on waves less than 1,5m, or carve at low speed. Beginners will be able to make their first flights at low speed, making the Spitfire the ideal foil to learn with confidence.

ZEEKO ALLOY SERIES: Ultra strong hydrofoil. Mast, Plate and fuselage All our ‘Alloy series’ hydrofoils are made of a specific aluminum alloy (different from the 6061 alloys of most hydrofoils on the market), this alloy makes it possible to increase the stiffness of our hydrofoils but also to offer unmatched corrosion resistance. Moreover, most foils of the market are only anodized, our foils are anodized AND painted with a paint increasing the glide and therefore the performance of the hydrofoil. Front and rear wings The profile of the front and rear wings has been designed and developed for maximum comfort and stability. The wings are made of G10 for maximum strength allowing unprecedented rigidity and unequaled profile precision. SALT WATER & ALUMINUM The aluminum parts are anodized and painted, offering double protection. The aluminum used is the most resistant to salt water. It is recommended to use T-Gel for the screws (Tef-Gel supplied with the hydrofoil)
