d. Install the body 3, short bolt 5, remover washer 6 and remover spacer 7 onto the ball joint. NOTE: • Remover washer 6 must be aligned with the projection on the head of the ball joint. • Surface a of the remover spacer 7 must be aligned with the surface b of the steering knuckle. e. Hold the body 3 in place while turning in the short bolt 5 to remove the ball joint A from the steering knuckle. f. Remove the ball joint remover/installer.
g. Install the long bolt 4, installer spacer 9 and installer guide 0 onto the body 3.
