The Moody Clan LED lights with 5 color filters Fall 2010 In collaboration with ChaeWoun Bang, Solee Kim and Jinseong Kim, created over the course of an academic course, Design and Technology, conducted by Professor Andrea Dichiara at IDAS (Hongik University).
The League of Extraordinary Illuminance Stop-motion animation Winter 2010 Inspired by The Moody Clan, LED lights with 5 color filters, this stop-motion animation designed to introduce main functions of the said products.

Fall 2011 In collaboration with Professor David Hall and Elena Marchenko, completed during an academic course, Media Art II, at IDAS (Hongik University) Entirely founded by the South Korean Government’s Green Growth Research Project, this collaboration work features various experimentations with Kinect for XBOX 380 by Microsoft, to discover new approaches to public installation with the emphasis on the cinematic expressions.

The Quotes Composers Typographic study
Spring 2012 A typography project designed to explore 20 selected typefaces, using corresponding numbers of notable quotes by cinema-related personnel.
Luminous Specimen Thesis research project / Media installation
Spring 2012 In connection with the thesis project, Lumino Kinetic and Beyond, which focuses on the properties of lights and the perception of space, this work explores alternate possibilities of bathroom lighting design, with a strong emphasis on digital media art form by utilizing glass prisms and ipods. Completed during academic courses, Thesis Research I, supervised by Professor David Hall and Product Design Studio I, conducted by Professor Andrea Dichiara at IDAS (Hongik University), the project has been featured in various notable online publications, such as Designboom and Amusement, among many others.

Luminogeist Thesis project / Media installation
Fall 2012 As a continuation of the previous research project, Luminous Specimen, the second stage of the thesis project, Lumino Kinetic and Beyond, explores possibilities of Pepper’s Ghost, an illusionary technique. Under the supervision of Professor David Hall, this project aimed to transform the acclaimed Pepper’s Pyramid into a handy marketable media art, which produces holographic illusions with glass prisms and iPods.
