n the eve of the 100th anniversary of President Reagan’s birth, a time to celebrate the achievements of one of the greatest, most beloved Presidents in our nation’s history, Freedom is on the precipice. We are witnessing an unprecedented attempt by leftists in power to bring about the complete reversal of the Reagan Revolution. Everything Ronald Reagan fought for has been rejected by the most liberal administration we’ve seen in our nation’s history. Their goal: to eradicate President Reagan’s ideas and lasting accomplishments and weave socialism into the very fabric of our American society. We at Young America’s Foundation are not about to sit back and let that happen, and Reagan 100, our celebration of President Reagan’s 100th birthday, is the perfect

opportunity to bring about a resurgence of President Reagan’s vision—and to instill that vision in the next generation. We know that in the battle for Freedom’s Future in our country, young people are the battleground. The leftists in power are pursuing this key group with undisguised intensity, and they have been very successful in their efforts. Barack Obama understands the importance of young people in establishing a movement. He regularly—with more intensity than any President before—goes to campuses to inculcate young people with his socialist ideology. On average, he’s visited one campus every 12 days since taking office. Like Obama, President Reagan understood the importance of reaching and inspiring young people. He
