YAF Chapter Battles School Officials to Host Senator Santorum

ot long after the DePaul incident, liberal bias reared its ugly head in Michigan’s Grosse Pointe Public School System as the district’s superintendent tried to quash the much-anticipated speech by Senator Rick Santorum. Langston Bowens, the YAF chapter chairman at Grosse Pointe South High School, contacted Young America’s Foundation in early spring to inquire about having Santorum speak at his high school. After working on the schedules and alerting high school administrators, the speech—on the topic of leadership— was scheduled for late April. However, plans changed two weeks before the event when a hastily organized
