I was recommended this hostel by a friend. It's really more like a guest house in a nicely decorated old house than a hostel. There are only 7 rooms, so it's got a good vibe and everything is really clean. I stayed in a single room, which was good value. You also get 3 breakfast choices, including vegetarian, in the price. It's in a pretty street in the old town, but it's not far to walk to the Grand Palace or Wat Suthat. Even though it's near a main street it was surprisingly quiet - a real oasis to come back to after the city. Staff were a great help with getting around town. Thanks!
LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA Ljubljana's new Hostel Tresor (The Vault) transforms the city's former investment bank into a hip hostel, complete with marble pillars, glass ceiling, 24-hour opening hours, and an underground bar in the vault. All rooms are named after world currencies and range from multi-share rooms in the former boardrooms, to family and twin/double rooms with romantic views of Ljubljana castle. Located in Copova Street, the Slovenian capital's (much smaller) answer to New York's Times Square, it's arguably the most centrallylocated hostel in town.
