“THE LIVING GOD” Who is YAHWEH? Strictly speaking, YAHWEH is the only “NAME” of God. In Genesis, wherever the word “NAME” is associated with The Divine Being, that name is YAHWEH. When Abraham or Isaac built an altar, “he called on the name of YAHWEH” (Genesis 12:3, 13:4, 26:5). Reference: The New Bible Dictionary, by J. D. Douglas, page 478. “YAHWEH - The Covenant God of Israel, YHWH, in the Original Hebrew. According to Jewish custom, because of reverence, The Divine name was not to be spoken, so the words LORD and GOD were SUBSTITUTED. Whenever the words “LORD” AND “GOD” appear in LARGE and small CAPITAL letters, the ORIGINAL Hebrew reads YHWH (YAHWEH).” Reference: King James Version of the Bible by Thomas Nelson, Inc. “God’s self, His real person, is concentrated in His name. Unless God’s name is known, it is impossible to have a relationship with Him.” Reference: The Interpreter’s Dictionary of the Bible, by Abingdon Press, Nashville, TN, page 408. “YAHWEH” is called the Divine Name and the Tetragrammaton, or four-letter word, because it has four letters in Hebrew (YHWH). Most Jewish people will not say “Yahweh”. Instead, they say 6 | YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM

“HASHEM” —a Hebrew word that means “The Name”, or they say “Adonai” —the Hebrew word for “Lord”. Yahweh is also called The Ineffable Name, or The Unspeakable Name, but God’s Name is not unspeakable. According to Matthew Chapter 6 verse 9, which is the Lord’s Prayer Christ said: Matthew 6:9 - King James Version (KJV) “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” Christ gave the ultimate reverence to this one name by conferring the name as Hallowed, which mean “holy”. This is the one name that Christ would come in - to be The Son of this great name -because the Father and Son are One. Since They are One, They must also have one name. Although the name YAHWEH in Hebrew is placed upon various temples across the world, such as the temple (North Yorkshire) shown in this picture, Yahweh’s Name does not appear (even once) in the text of the three most popular English Bible translations on the market today. The King James Bible, the New American Standard Bible, and the New International Version substitutes the titles “LORD” and “GOD” - with capitalized letters in the place where God’s Name -

“YAHWEH” actually belongs the ORIGINAL Hebrew reads YHWH (YAHWEH). Jewish religious leaders introduced this tradition in the mid-2nd century B.C., and it has continued since that time. This man-made tradition—which achieved nearuniversal acceptance in 1611 A.D. (when the King James Bible editors failed to include the Name “Yahweh” in their inaugural edition) — is wrong and dangerous for two reasons. First, it nullifies Yahweh’s explicit command to tell the world that we have only One G o d — YA H W E H . S e c o n d , according to the Bible, YAHWEH is the only name in which we have salvation. Most people that have taken on man’s religion have never heard the name YAHWEH or heard a preacher say it from the pulpit, but research shows that this is the only true name. Matthew 28:19 - King James Version (KJV) “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father (YAHWEH), and of the Son (YAHWEH), and of the Holy Ghost (YAHWEH)” To learn more about Yahweh and the global family of peace visit our website: http:// www.cfycorporate.org and email us at info@cfycorporate.org. THE DELFONICS REVUE Soul 1 Allstars YM: Today we have Mr. Greg Hill of the Delfonics Revue. The Delfonics Revue will be performing at first annual Yahweh’s family reunion. DR: Yes thanks for having us. We are definitely looking forward to coming out and performing for good cause. YM: Tell us about Greg Hill and the Delfonics Revue. I am a producer, singer, songwriter & Musician. I have been in the music field most of my life. I started out a while back. I worked with Teddy Riley before he came out with Guy. I played bass for his first group “Atlantis.” I also worked with New Edition during their “Cool it Now Album” as stage Manager and played bass player. I co-founded an R&B group back in the late 80s called "The Concept" with William Wright & Ray Harold. We signed a 3 album deal with Esquire/Capital Records. We released our 1st CD in 1989 entitled "Taint My World" Mr. William and myself produced the album. The first single "Home Girl" (written by Victor Bailey) was charted in Billboard. Unfortunately, the label decided not to promote the CD properly so we decided to move on. YM: I know promotion is key with anything that you’re doing. What did you do after you moved on? DR: I toured with "Will Harts Original Delfonics" for close to 15 years. In 2005, we recorded a album entitled "Fonic Zone" which was distributed by Universal and featured a track with platinum selling rap artist "Rick Ross". Those were really good

times for the group, but with a heavy heart, I decided to depart from Mr. Harts group along with the lead singer of the group "Joe Branch" to form my own version called The Legendary Delfonics Revue. YM: That was a bold move. DR: Yes, it was a bold move, some may say. I am not an original member of the Delfonics, but I wanted to take this legendary music to a new level but I could not accomplish this if I stayed with Mr. Harts group. I just needed to grow. I’m writing a book about my time about the times I had with Will Harts Original Delfonics. I may just self publish and take it from there. YM: What is the Delfonics Revue doing currently? DR: We perform in small & large venues with our band or tracks (depending on your budget). Soul 1 Records is now off the ground. My artists name is Q. Williams. He’s going to be at the Black Expo on December 21, 2013. I recently started a new production & management company called "Soul 1 Ent.", along with my partner William Wright. We are currently managing & booking: The Legendary Delfonics Revue, the Stylistics Revue, Rose Royce Revue, The Intruders, The Pursuaders, Levert and many more classic soul groups & artists! Question...

Who is the author of the book that you have in your homes, offices, churches, hotels, courthouses, and that sits on the President’s desk of the United States of America -The same book his hand was placed on when sworn into o ffi c e ? Have you ever considered WHO is the author of this world-renowned book written in more languages than any other book in history? This book the Holy Bible is the world’s standard spiritual resource reference and has single handedly influenced more civilizations, world events, and personal lives than any other book in existence. How can a book of such magnitude have an author whose name is not openly recognized? Well, let’s see what the book has to say about his name. Psalms 148:13 “Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; His glory is above the earth and heaven.” What a powerful scripture here! The Author says His name alone is excellent. Well to any astute and sagacious student of the word I know a bell had to ring in your head. What is this excellent name? All who are intellectually honest will do their 2nd Timothy 2:15 which reads: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” I encourage all readers to go to your libraries search out this truth in the Random House dictionaries, Webster ’s, Encarta, Oxford, Britannica Encyclopedias, Bible dictionaries and look this name up: YAHWEH. This is the Name that is excellent above all names and the scriptures bear witness from Genesis through Revelation. Let us read 1st John 5:7: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” The word ONE denotes a single person or thing, in a state of unity or harmony, complete, whole, unified and married.

“The Three are One”

Now let us reason together: How can The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost be ONE with different names? How can the three be in unity or in harmony with three different names? How can they be unified under different names? Even when a man and woman marry, they become ONE they share the same name. According to John 5:43 The Son - which is described as the Word reads “I am come in My Father’s name, and ye receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” In John 14:26 The Holy Ghost has the same name as the Son and it reads “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” So here we have The Father’s name recorded as YAHWEH and the Son’s name is YAHWEH and the Holy Ghost name is YAHWEH which makes the THREE “ONE”: YAHWEH the Father YAHWEH The Son and YAHWEH the Holy Ghost. Did You Know? “God Lives within You”

People have been taught to look up in the sky or in the Heavens for God, when actually He is much closer than most think! In the book of Jeremiah 23:23: “Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?” Question: Who is this God at hand, and what is His name? Proverbs 30:4 “Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is His Son's name, if thou canst tell?” According to the King James Version of the Bible, dictionary section, published by Thomas Nelson, God’s name (according to the bible dictionary definition) reads: YAHWEH - The Covenant God of Israel, YHWH, in the Original Hebrew, According to Jewish custom, because of reverence, The Divine name was not to be spoken, so the words “LORD” and “GOD” were SUBSTITUTED. Whenever the words “LORD” and “GOD” appear in LARGE and small CAPITAL letters, the ORIGINAL Hebrew reads YHWH (YAHWEH). The fact that God lives in every human being should not be a m y s t e r y. R e s e a r c h i n g s e v e r a l reference tools such as the Catholic Encyclopedia, Bibles Interpreter Dictionaries, Hebrew – Greek Key 10 | YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM

Study Bibles, and many other reference tools, it becomes absolutely clear that God’s name is YAHWEH. Higher teachings in other religions such as Islam all lead up to a reference to God’s Essence, a title for His name, with the meaning as the title. The point is, regardless of what people choose to call God, it’s important to recognize that He lives inside of us. YAHWEH LIVES WITHIN YOU The Spirit of God lives in each and every person. 1 Corinthians 3:16 “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God (YAHWEH), and that the Spirit of God (YAHWEH) dwelleth in you?” John 4:24 “God (YAHWEH) is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Since God (YAHWEH) is a Spirit, and His Spirit dwells in you, then all the power of God is in you as well! John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God (YAHWEH), even to them that believe on His name (YAHWEH):” Luke 17:21 “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” The Kingdom of God within you is the temple in which the Spirit of God (YAHWEH) dwells! How does it make you feel to know that God loves you and is inside of you? This

means every righteous desire of your heart shall be given to you once you fully come to understand and become one with the Spirit that lives inside of you! As you become conscious of this unlimited source of divinity and laden power that exist within, you it will unlock all the keys of the universe. Creation of the air, sun, moon proves that God is unlimited. The process of reproduction where a child is conceived, developed in the womb, grows and constantly evolves in knowledge and understanding, proves that God is unlimited. Look in the mirror, and you will see a person that is unlimited. Automatically from birth, You have access to this unlimited selfrealization now!!! It is not a fantasy, you really do have access to unlimited love, peace, health, prosperity and much more…. You are only limited to the limitations you place on your mind with your thoughts of doubt. You can change the world today and it all begins with you. To learn more contact The Celestial Federation of YAHWEH, online via www.cfycorporate.org and come join The Royal Family of Peace and learn how to become one with your God Consciousness. LIVING A DRAMA FREE LIFE

“I’m Sorry, Baby” By Debowrah B. Yahweh “It’s been ten years of the same thing, over and over again”, Theresa explains. “He comes home from work, upset from a bad day. I have food ready for him. He eats, and then he grabs a beer. Once he starts drinking, I become the punching bag.” “Well, why won’t you leave him?” “He takes care of me and the children. No one else will want me. I need him.” “You almost died. You are bleeding internally, and the next blow might be irreversible. You may not have another chance to change your mind and get away from him.” Who is Theresa talking to? She is talking to herself, her right mind. Many women are abused by their mate so much that it becomes “normal” to them. They convince themselves that they have no choice but to stay.

Sadly, many women do not make it out of these situations. No one should stay with a person that is v e r b a l l y, p h y s i c a l l y, e m o t i o n a l l y o r psychologically abusive. Man or woman, it doesn’t matter. We should treat others better than we expect to be treated by eachother. If you are in an abusive relationship, you are not alone. You do not have to stand for it anymore. Instead of hearing “I’m sorry, baby, I won’t hurt you again,” You need to say to yourself “I’m sorry I didn’t leave sooner, I am worth more than this.” A person who abuses you does not love you, contrary to what their words may say. A person that hits or otherwise, tries to make you feel less than a person, has pleasure in causing you pain. Get away while you can! Relocate, seek help from trusted friends or organizations that can help victims. Sometimes you have to be drastic in your change, but it will save your life. YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM | 11

The Anti-Bullying Tour Written by: “The Voice” T.P Frazier

There’s an old saying that goes “The Children Are Our Future” and when it comes multitalented siblings and burgeoning pop sensations “Da LiL 1’s” no statement could apply more. Hailing out of entertainment mecca Atlanta, Georgia “Da LiL 1’s” consists of Shakela Na’shawn Dingle aka “Tink” age 15, Courvoisier Shakur Oneal Dingle aka “LiL Trapp” age 14 and Odom O’neal Dingle aka “BoneZ” age 11 who under the veteran leadership of Low Country Management LLC headed by their father Odom “Da Trappa” Dingle are positioned for global super stardom. Combining A-1 singing with first rate rhyme skills and a killer live stage show packed w ith enough energy to rival a world renowned rock band is why many in the know are proclaiming the dynamic trio as the pint size version of the Grammy Award Winning” Black Eyed Peas.” High praise maybe but then again one only needs to look, listen or merely observe “Da LiL 1’s” enter a room to know its been years since the Music Industry has produced such larger than life personalities as well as talents. Arguably the most highly anticipated young act to emerge out of the extremely talent rich Dirty South in some time “Tink”, “LiL Trapp” and “BoneZ” tower as the new personification of youthful expression. Boldly, declaring their right to have fun on songs while ushering in both a brand new lingo and style of dress is the calling card of three totally unique artists that are as close behind the scenes, as they are different in front of the cameras.

Thus explaining why the super sassy girly girl rapper extraordinaire “Tink” who likes eating hot wings, the dance “Beef It Up” and watching the hit TV show “Pretty Little Liars” can get along with the baseball, football and basketball collecting “LiL Trapp” whose hard hitting rap punch lines, talent at Running Back and love for doing the “Duggie” pairs perfectly with the beautiful singing voice of “BoneZ” who prefers to watch Power Rangers, eat pizza, all while being a member of Atlanta Public Honors Chorus (APS). Influenced most by music heavyweights-Lemonade Mouth, Monica, Maroon 5, The Black Eye Peas, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Trey Songs, T.I, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Cymphonique Miller and the Late Great King of Pop Michael Jackson represents the level of success sought by “Da LiL 1’s.” Although, still very early in their careers “Tink”, “LiL Trapp” and “BoneZ” are veterans of the chitterlings circuit having already performed countless times throughout the entire state of Georgia and its surrounding areas. Currently riding high off of the massive buzz generated over their internet smash first single entitled “Facebook” featuring “TekaBoo” from Tyler Perry’s hit new series “For Better or Worse” explains why the sky is indeed the limit for Generation Next Most Promising Pop Group...”Da LiL 1’s.” For booking Information: Odom “Da Trappa” Dingle 678-949-6745 LowCountryManagement@gmail.com www.DaLil1s.com

MEET Eric Bendross supplied me with the opportunity to portray Bishop Marquis King in her phenomenal theatrical experience. Furthermore, I refer to this production as a "phenomenal theatrical experience" because it is just that! This stage play is about more than just entertaining theatre-goers. For starters, it brings Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention to the forefront but it is also life-changing as well. The production stirs the soul, yielding positive and lasting change in batterers and victims of domestic violence alike.

Executive Producer and Miami's very own Eric Bendross presents Cynthia Wilson's Battered But Not Broken live stage play production. To say that I am proud and excited to be a part of "Cynthia Wilson's Battered But Not Broken" live stage play production is a vast understatement. My name is Eric Bendross and I am a man of many talents; acting, singing, writing songs, screenplays, producing, short stories, editorials, magazine and inspirational articles are just a few of the crafts in which I take great pleasure. I have had the privilege of taking part and appearing in a number of major and independent motion pictures and television productions, including but not limited to: Universal Studios' 2 Fast 2 Furious, the award winning documentary: Miami Noir: The Arthur E. Teele Story (Good Cop Bad Cop Productions) and Peaty James' What's A Friend: The Ultimate Betrayal and Never Get Married (Prominence Entertainment, LLC). I also portrayed "Papa Ge" in AAPACT's first musical: "Once On This Island" and "Deity" in their stage play reading of "Tarell McCraney's WIG OUT!". Additionally, I am all the more passionate about my even greater and ultimate calling, which is being a humble servant and messenger of God. Therefore, it had to be by divine appointment that Ms. Cynthia Wilson and I connected online and as a result she

What's more, I am quite elated and grateful to Ms. Wilson for recruiting me to join Milky Way Productions, LLC's administrative team as their production's Business Manager; thereby enabling me to set the wheels in motion to bring this incredible stage play to my home State of Florida. Additionally, I have also signed on as Executive Producer for the dates scheduled in South Florida during January 2014. I look forward to presenting Cynthia Wilson's Battered But Not Broken to my hometown where I plan to do the role of Bishop Marquis King justice because a great legacy has been left by my predecessors in the persons of Rev. Paul A. Dunn of First Baptist Church and Pastor Frederick Hightower of All Nations Revival Centre. Ms. Wilson has told me of the incredible job that these blessed men of God did and I fully plan to fill their shoes in stellar fashion. http://www.milkywayproductions.net/purchase-ads-or-make-adonation/ To find out more about Eric Bendross please visit his website: www.ericbendross.com and his Facebook "Like" page: www.facebook.com/EricBendrossWrites You may view his IMDb page here at: www.IMDb.me/ericbendross Please also "Like" Cynthia Wilson's Battered But Not Broken's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/TheOfficialCWBatteredButNotBroken

DOVE EYES PRODUCTION Dove Eyes Production is an organization who global mission is to help those who cannot help themselves. What does that mean? That means Dove Eyes is here to bring in different communities as one and become a positive influence on their lives. They lend out a helping hand to everyone and help them the best way they can. But their heart felt goal is to reach out and recruit the youth to join Dove Eyes Production. There’s so much gang violence, fighting, killing, racism, and hatred in this world; it’s effecting our youth and their upbringing. It makes them think that what they see is all they have to look forward to for their futures. Our youth is surrounded by such a negative life style; that they immediately adjust and follow what their being taught. Because most of them have been submitted to this life style, Dove Eyes decided to step in and show them there’s other option. Their showing them how to work together, support one another, avoid physical and verbal abuse from their peers. They also have a counseling team who will be there if anyone needs advice or just needs someone to talk to. Our youth will be taught life skills “teaching them how to manage businesses, as well as becoming business owners, Money management, etc. Dove eyes will most importantly exhibit team work; By taking the youth with them to clean up the streets, go feed the homeless, visit convalescent homes, and shelters. It will also show them that you don’t have to give back and help others because you aspect something in return but, because it’s a

phenomenal feeling to just give, help, support and be there for others. It’s a lot of influence from the media that our youth follow. Our young men and women are being influenced right in front of our eyes. A lot of them feel like the only way to be accepted is to dress or talk or act like the latest person seen on TV. Doesn’t matter if it’s a positive or negative, a lot of teenagers will do what it takes to be noticed. We have some that have their own mines to do what they want not feeling the pressure of others. But Dove Eyes will teach them how to become leaders, and how to avoid pressure from others. They will still join in helping with fundraisers, and big events Dove Eyes will host. They want the youth to be hands on with all their projects, letting them explore their creative minds and also learning how to communicate with others. As of today Dove Eyes is recruiting young teenagers from the ages of thirteen through eighteen. These young adults are exhibiting great ambition to reach for their goals and make a change. The team is continuously growing by stepping outside of their comfort zone and challenging one another. They have built a trust for each other that they don’t mind letting one another take the lead. Dove Eyes plans are to continuously reach out to teens and their families, and other businesses to make them known and continue to grow. They don’t plan on stop anytime soon So stay tuned because you will hear more about them. YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM | 17

Tech & Business In today’s world, it technology has made it possible to conduct many types of business transactions without the “face to face” requirement. If you are from the “old school,” you may not necessarily agree to this change in current times and trends. However, getting in the tech world will benefit your business if you choose to get with the program. Eventually, you will have to make the choice, or your competition will win. Whether your business is a local cleaning service, restaurant, doctor’s office, or even a child care center, your business will grow if you create your online presence by creating or purchasing a website. You will gain many customers that otherwise would not have ever known about your location or your services. That equals increased revenues for your business and longevity. Put in your short and long term financial goals and let the software calculate the sales or production needed to achieve your goals. Figure out your bottom line easy with a click of the button. With that same click, create a simple advertisement for your business and print it out or put it on your website. The possibilities are endless. Some organizations have moved from the traditional register to accepting payments on their mobile phones. Now, there is no need to carry cash to your hair dresser, he or she probably are in the tech game, and can accept payments and tips via credit card on their phone or tablet. MEET Sreeratna Kancherla

My Journey is interesting. If I just start with the present, I’m about to go on an adventure into Africa. I’ve been working there and my passion has really about trying to understand the issue of what people in so called developing countries face particularly, things that affect woman and children. I studied International Human Rights Law. I went to school in Boston and I went to School in Atlanta. Shout out to the people in ATL at Emery University! I always had a passion for writing and finding different ways to bring people together. The past few years I’ve spent time in India working on a Social Enterprise Space. Finding ways to help out the poor through different business ideas and how you can actually create change more sustainably. Now I’m off to Africa wanting to learn more about that continent and what people are facing and what I can do to contribute. YM: That’s Amazing. Hopefully we can stay in contact while your on your travels and possibly get some updates from you whenever you get a chance. I would love that that would be awesome. I want to get back into my writing. I actually show how words can paint a picture of the stories of people. Ultimately it doesn’t matter where we are in the world, we are all somehow connected. I want to be that bridge for that connection, so wherever I am I would be happy to share 24 | YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM

stories and talk about the people and find solutions. Even though we’re supposed to be a big world, we’re really a pretty small world. Especially now with social media and the Internet we’re even more connected. YM: I know you have been working hard to play your part in assisting in your own way to develop India and Africa. When I first met you mentioned that you worked for The United Nations at one time? SK: Yes. My background is International Law. My role was providing research to the International Tribunal Criminal Tribunal of Rwanda. Which was after the Rwandan Genocide. Prosecuting the perpetrators for War Crimes. The ICTR was created under the United Nations Protocol. I was providing research to help the prosecutors in that office to bring the perpetrators to court and to really create justice in that country that was so affected, as was the world, by something so tragic. I also did some policy work on security and development through a policy institute. I just took part in different dialogues and conversations on how you create ways to rebuild a country after civil war and conflict. YM: I can imagine what it’s been like. It sounds like an enormous task. What projects are you working on now? When I was working for the International Criminal Tribunal of Rwanda I provided research for them. I was really affected by what happened in Rwanda. Somehow that country has a place in my heart. I have some sense of responsibility for what the people went through there. It was a huge thing in my time in 1994. It affected me. I had the opportunity to visit the village of widows and hear their stories. It is the last generation of women that have survived the genocide. I had the opportunity to hear their incredible stories. I feel we need to hear their stories in order to prevent things like this from happening in the future. YM: I agree. Absolutely. SK: so from that I was inspired to create my own organization. The name of it is SABALA. it means bold or powerful woman. I am working on a book about the stories of women from the US, India

⏐ ENTERPRISE ⏐ SERVITUDE and Africa. I am also looking to raise funds for other female entrepreneurs and invest in them, so that they can create a chain of change through their social businesses. Part of my reason for going to Africa is to research this more. I am also collaborating with a company from India that is trying to build a technology structure in the region. I am working on access to education and I’m working on a tablet project in education in Rwanda. We are working on getting tablets with education apps to the lower income regions in Rwanda. So I am going on making my first trip out there in the next two weeks and looking to see what comes out of that. YM: Amazing. Your humanitarian efforts have not ceased. You are constantly reinventing yourself. SK: Yes, I feel like I need to be the greater voice for those who may not have a voice. Being blessed with certain opportunities, I may be able to see things that other people may not be able to see. I know that there are a lot of people out there that may want to be part of a greater good, but just don’t know how to. I definitely think that we are a generation that wants to create change. I feel that I can contribute anything it’s just my voice and be that bridge for people that may not have access to tell their stories. To bridge them to the ones that want to contribute and want to be part of something greater then their own individual self. YM: I get chills listening to your vision. We are interested in staying connected with you so we can help you in your efforts in any way we can. It was destiny that we met. Tell us more about building the technology structure in Africa. SK: what I will be doing in the private sector is working with an Indian company who also has a greater vision of building

infrastructure within Africa. I will work with them by trying to get them different projects and parts of Africa relating to technology. Developing education or healthcare management systems. That’s a job that will get me around and allows me to meet different types of people. To really be on the ground and understand what some of the issues are and what some of the obstacles are that people in the region actually face. While I’m there it will give me the opportunity to build that platform and making that greater connection and hopefully get to a place where we can raise funds to create and help other social businesses to create more change on the ground. So it’s two things. One is working in the private sector with the technology company to find projects to build in the region. The other is where my passion is with the writing and telling the stories of women and helping women create social businesses to sustain themselves. YM: So what are your goals in writing your book? SK: The concept of my book and my storytelling is to show that we’re all connected. It doesn’t matter where you are in the world we each have a story. We each go through pain and happiness and all of that. I think that by sharing that we all have some of the same feelings, hopes, and dreams that we’re really not that separate. You can be sitting in the corporate office and Atlanta or be in the village of widows in Rwanda and the emotions, maybe not the experiences, but the emotions that we go through every day are probably very similar. We are all human ultimately. I want to share those human stories to show that we are really not that divided. That is my goal, to capture that, with the blessings of the universe and be able to put it together in a way that will interest the people to want to know more. YM: We are going to send whatever blessings we can your way. How can any of our readers contribute to your efforts? YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM | 25

⏐ ENTERPRISE ⏐ SERVITUDE SK: One way to contribute to Voice for Girls, which is partially funded by the Nike foundation. I am a board member for that. Also once I set up my blog and get my organization as a SABALA running I’ll be taking funding for that. Also by contributing your own stories. YM: When did you realize that you wanted to be a humanitarian? SK: That’s a great question. I always wondered when that happened. I grew up in a really small town in Georgia. I was pretty sheltered from the world in the sense. I remember taking family trips back to India and seeing the disparity. I started to realize how blessed I was in the US by having my parents and all of the material things that I had and just seeing people not having that. That’s when it struck me. SK: I don’t know if you knew this part of my bio but I have done some beauty pageants. I was miss India USA and Miss Teen All American in 1994. That was the American pageant and Holly Berry one that one also. We were the only two dark skinned people to ever win that pageant. I was certainly the first Indian to be in the beauty pageant of that level. So in way to say I’m a beauty queen trying to save the world if you want to be cliché about it. Through that platform I had a lot more exposure and that awareness somehow got in me. I was only 17 and I had this platform and what was I going to do with it? I was going to India and looking around at the women there and that’s when I think it clicked in my head. I was also a part of amnesty international when I was in high school, so I believe it’s been a part of me all these years. YM: Are you working on these things on your own, or do you have a team? SK: Well it’s me, but you know what? Meeting people like Nema Etebar and yourself lets me know,“Okay I can do this.” Meeting people that are creating their own path to help humanity, it lets 26 | YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM

me know I’m not on my own. We’re all doing this together but in different ways. Right now I’m just trying to be a rebel and follow your lead and follow Nema. All you great people that inspire me and see how we can do this together. YM: You are sacrificing living the American Dream of a house with a white picket fence and a little dog. I just need to know what makes you tick. What is going on in your mind and your heart that is allowing you to sacrifice a “Normal Life.” SK: I lost my father to brain cancer. That’s when I realized that in the second life can change. So I asked myself my doing what I really want to? Am I doing what makes me happy? People always ask the question, “Are you happy? Are you doing what your heart wants?” Ask myself if I were to leave this earth today, would I feel like I have done enough? I asked what are you taking with you and what are you leaving behind? Not that I don’t like going hiking, hanging out with my friends or doing stuff like that. There are 365 days in a year, where do I want my energy to go? I come from a traditional Indian background and I am going against the grain and breaking the boundaries. By traveling the world and being bold in what I’m doing. If I want to honor what my energy is I have to do that.

Sunshine Anderson

⏐ YM EXCLUSIVE ⏐ SUNSHINE ANDERSON YM: Thank you for taking time out to speak with us today Ms. Sunshine Anderson. We already know what you’ve done. We are interested in what to expect next from Sunshine Anderson. SA: I’m back in the studio working on my 4th album. We’re still in the beginning stages. I’m working on imaging and branding. Just tightening up our plan of action. We are also talking to some of the producers that will also be working on the album,. We’re talking with Jazzy Faye. Grand Michael Cox, and some other great producers. I’m also working on a book. It’s going to be a how to manual on the do’s and don’ts in the music industry. What to get involved in and what not to get involved in. I’m also a mommy to a beautiful little girl named Sky. GOD is good. YM: Bless your heart. That’s great. We had no idea you were dropping a fourth album. That’s good news. Do you have a title for it already? SA: I don’t have a title for it yet. I feel like I’ve talked about relationships a lot., between myself, Mary J. Blige, Keisha Cole and the greats. We’ve talked about the men and the drama we’ve been through in our relationships. There’s only so many ways you can say he cheated on me. I’m looking to restructure. I want to give women hope and inspiration. YM: You mentioned some of the greats. Is there anyone in the industry that you have kept in contact with? SA: Not really. I’m a normal person. I know a lot of people and a lot of people know me. I go to an industry party have a glass of wine and keep it moving.

YM: I love it. Your trying to something a little different from the norm. SA: W all go through the pain when things are not rosy. So, some of that is going to be there. However, when you don’t feel bad you can’t talk about feeling bad. When your happy, you have to talk about those things. We’re going to figure it out and see what angle to come from. YM: I understand. Would you say your happy right now? SA: I’m in a good place. I’m a mommy. My little girl just turned 6 yrs. Old. She just started kindergarten, and things are great.

YM: I have heard a lot of stories about the industry. Some good, some bad. Are the horror stories true, or do you just need to be more knowledgeable in certain areas? SA: There are a lot of things that go on behind the scenes period. With major labels and independents. There are definitely those horror stories. People not getting paid, the bus driver not getting paid. The bus driver pulling off of the highway in the middle of Texas, sitting there for an hour while the label sorts out where this mans money is. There are horror stories, it just depends on who your talking to. Obviously know I’m not the artist that puts out an album every year. I have had some trouble in the industry. A lot of times we only see the glamorous side of things. They see the videos, they see the money. People don’t know the hell I had to go through in order to get this album out. Downright it could be that bad. Clearly you never heard of a Sunshine attempted suicide, but you definitely heard of the Mariah Carey break down, or Brandy getting dehydrated and not being YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM | 29

⏐ YM EXCLUSIVE ⏐ SUNSHINE ANDERSON able to go on. Yeah there are definitely some crazy things that go on in this industry. This music is your baby. It’s like Erica Badu when she said she’s sensitive about her art. YM: Who inspired you to sing? What made you want to be this wonderful pop singer bet you are? SA: It’s something that is just in you. I knew from a very early age. We had this show on when I was a very little girl called Solid Gold. Dion Warwick was the host and I just knew that I was going to be on Solid Gold. I also grew up listening to Phyllis Hyman and Lou Rawls. My dad also had a big jazz background and I grew up listening to all that music. Sunday was cleanup day my house and that’s when I learned about Stevie Wonder and all the greats. YM: What other inspirations or struggles got you to the point where you are at now? What steps did you take to develop your career? Can you give us a breakdown of it? SA: I actually started recording back in high school. There was a great artist back then by the name of Horace Brown. He sang a song called “One for the money two for the show.” Horace had the opportunity to hear me saying and put me in a girl group when I was in my senior year in high school. I went on to college and Horace recorded his first album with Andre Harrell. One day I was in the cafeteria at North Carolina Central University and someone heard me singing a Lala Hathaway song. He mentioned my name to some other people and my telephone rang. I went and sang in front of a guy named Mike City who wound up producing my first and third album. My whole four years in college

I was recording in the basement and we used to joke around that one day they would call me and tell me that I had to quit my job. I wound up moving to Washington DC started working for the government and then I just felt that my dream was lost. Then my telephone rang one day and they told me that I had a record deal. I did just what we used to joke about. I didn’t even give the government to weeks notice. I gave my notice on Monday and I left my job on Friday and I flew to California. The next thing you guys know was the single “Heard it all before.” It was a 9 year process from when I started in the music industry until you heard my first single. It was a long process. People will say oh your an overnight success but it sure wasn’t over night. YM: How did you feel when you first heard single on the radio and when did you first video? SA: It was very surreal. I get that same feeling every time I’m getting ready to do a show and they announce “Ladies and gentlemen national recording artist Sunshine Anderson!” Every time I walk out there on the stage it’s like brand-new every time. I remember the video shoot, a family came down to see it. Seeing all of the camera men, sound crew, light crew and all working to make my dream come true. That was the best time of my life. TONY TERRY

⏐ YM EXCLUSIVE ⏐ TONY TERRY know its kind of like a team effort, a lot of people don’t realize how much time and effort go into just one project. YM: I can definitely understand that. Now, the concept of the song is all I need is my family? TT: Well its all about family, its all about family, and love, being ground, centered, and you know love is really a universal thing, so it all really comes back to spiritual love, that’s what family is all about. YM: Yes sir, definitely, and now that you mentioned that, that’s what we are planning on doing at our YAHWEH’s Family Reunion, is spreading nothing but love, you we’re excited to have you there, you know it’s our first annual, and it’s a benefit for the homeless, so you know its right on time. Its exciting that you feel the same way about family, are we going to hear that new song at our family reunion King? YM: When I was talking to your manager, he was telling me you had a new single out, so can you talk to us a little bit about that new single that’s out now? TT: 2:40 “All I need” yea, Well you know, I worked with a camp out in Dayton, Ohio, they produced it and there’s a video I shoot featuring my family, my wife and my son. It’s a beautiful love song, I think it’s pretty strong, it’s the first single off of what was going to be the album but I dint have the album ready, I still don’t have it ready, so I’m probably going to release another single off the album which is gong to be the lead to the album, I’m still actually putting finishing touches to the record, and I’m excited about it coming out, I hope people receive it when it does come out. YM: Oh, I can tell it’s going to receive it very well, just by this single “All I Need”, its great and I love the concept. I love the message. So are you working independent? Or are you working with a label? TT: Its independent at this point, but you know things change, right now I’m working with an independent label, some great producers, some young talented producers and engineers, you

TT: Oh yeah absolutely, I was looking at the flyer to see who else was going to be at the show, because I saw some other people on the show, that I’m looking forward to seeing. The Delfonics Revue, I love the Delfonics, Surface, Sunshine Anderson, yeah! I’m looking forward to that, it’s going to be nice. YM: I’m glad you’re looking forward to it. So what’s the forecast as far as when you’re giving us that new album? TT: I’m thinking probably by first quarter, which is why we’re trying to get her done. Probably by February YM: Okay, any collaborations? TT: I’m in the process of talking to a couple artists about making guest appearances, I can’t tell you who that is yet, because I haven’t secured them. I’m definitely working on some stuff absolutely. YM: nice, that’s beautiful, how do you see yourself from the 90s working in the studio to today working in the studio? Do you feel different, better, complicated, less?

YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM | 33

⏐ YM EXCLUSIVE ⏐ TONY TERRY TT: You know, I let the engineers engineer, I let the drummers drum and the singers sing. I’ve been making records for 25 years now. So being in the lab, it’s apart of what I do. A very natural thing I do. YM: So you have an artist that you’re working on bringing out? TT: a very talented brother, a great performer. And the music we’re coming up with is great.

questioned it. I knew that music would be the thing to provide for me in my family. Since 1984 music has sustained me and my family. YM: So you say 1984, did you get your big break then? How long did it take to be known by the public?

YM: That’s good to hear, can’t wait to hear from that artist as well. So is he going to be on your alum?

TT: That started the journey. I was working for a restaurant chain, I got a call about an audition that was in NY, I quit my job and went and auditioned for the show, and I got it. By 1985, I was doing background for artists and 1986 I got my deal.

TT: Well, I’m actually working on his album right now.

YM: That’s incredible, do you write your own music?

YM: Are you going to let us know who that is? Or is it a secret right now?

TT: Some of it, I’m actually recording a bunch of songs right now that were written by other people. I’m actually one of the writers to the song I’m working on with Seven right now in the studio.

TT: His name is Seven, he sounds naturally like teddy Pendergrass, which he has a reputation of doing, were trying to capitalize on the sound but make sure we’re not trying to copy that. YM: It’s an honor just be talking to you king, thank you.

YM: Some of your past songs, did you right any of those? TT: I co-wrote “she is fly” I wrote “Lovey Dovey” I co-wrote “everlasting love” I did not write “when I’m with you” and several others. YM: When you write, do you write from a personal point of view?

TT: Thank you. YM: What made you want to be a singer/performer? Where did it all start?

TT: Writing is very personal. We’re story tellers, and I happen to like to sing songs that’s on an emotional level.

TT: I’ve always been singing and performing as a kid in the choir at church, the lead me going to the school of the arts in DC and build a

foundation. I never r e a l l y

TT: Its important that you understand business. You have to understand it’s about more than the music. YM: Can you let everyone know how they can see what’s going on with Mr. Tony Terry? TT: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter is MrTonyTerry and my website is MrTonyTerry.Com. YM: I truly appreciate your time, and I look forward to seeing you in Atlanta, Ga!

Coming into the culinary world was pure Destiny for me. I received my first Job at Nordstroms Cafe in 2000 as a Dish Washer and quickly started to elevate through the company. After one year on the job, I had learned the preparation of food, line cooking, waiting, customer service, and registry skills. I enjoyed not having a set position when I came into work. I believe this foundation set me on my way with an advantage over the typical culinary student. Moving onto my second culinary opportunity, I received employment as a line cook with Walt Disney Concert Hall Catering in Downtown Los Angeles. ORANGE

Wednesday, December 04, 2013 The power of the color orange

Orange is a sociable color since it combines the physical with the intellectual, so it’s good to use in social areas like family rooms, classrooms and hospital rooms. The color orange can also assist with personal relationships, in an almost unheard of or unique fashion. Orange aids in the exchange of new ideas between two people and frees the spirit to be unlimited in nature, giving us the freedom to be ourselves. At the same time it encourages self-respect and respect of others, fostering a more supportive atmosphere for like-minded people to become closer to one another. The 2nd chakra which is the color orange is about friendliness, creativity, proper emotions , and intuition. It helps a person to be able to have and use the law of attraction. The 2nd vortex or chakra of the body also called the sacral chakra is one of the centers of emotions , the orange energy gives you the ability to reach out, to radiate, to extend yourself. It gives you the forcefulness to reach up – to your heart, and to your soul and is regarded as your precious fountainhead of vital energy.

eventually you will learn to use it as a part of your “TOTAL SELF, to achieve whatever goal you seek. Creative energy requires freedom and resists constraints, when not spiritually taught through righteous example, this can lead to rebelliousness or an unwillingness to be controlled and an intolerance for authority, as you can tell we must approach the ORANGE- 2ND CHAKRA- with balance and harmony and a definite respect and reverence for righteousness and adherence to the will of God which resides in the heaven of our minds.

Remember “when in doubt ask a question of t h e Tr i n i t y “ YA H W E H ” T H E FAT H E R , “YAHWEH” THE SON AND “YAHWEH” THE HOLY GHOST” which is always with you spiritually, Yahweh always answers our respectfully posed questions. And what is a question if not a prayer, so we can always feel free to pray to our FATHER YAHWEH. The sacral chakra is connected to and assists the reproductive system. The reproductive system is stimulated by the color orange to generate fruitfulness as evidenced by the dynamic power of an orange orchard where the fruit trees multiply with little or no effort from the growers. The 2nd chakra is also about desire, and desire is a fuel which enables you to reach out for what you want in life and draw it to you.

Explore that energy, learn to channel it, and YAHWEHMAGAZINE.COM | 39
