MY FIRST WORK A. I am your friend. I don’t work in education. You are talking to me about the idea that we all learn from each other, in all kinds of contexts, and that this can often be richer than more formal classroom based learning. I am sceptical. Tell me about an informal learning experience you have had online in which collaboration was involved, show me a concrete example to help me to see what you mean. I understad your scepticism, bacause until now you have always learn the same way; I mean that tou have been in one classroom, watching the whiteboard in wich the teacher - is the same in Primary, Secondary, even in the University - is writing and explaining, in a really total transmisive way. But actually, thanks to some different concepts about learning, like constructivisme, and the prominence of the IT´s, things are changing dramatically. Now we are almost able to organize one big University under the basis of elearning, creating one collaborative environment in wich one can learn from others. Even more, I´ve heard there are the possibility of creating some virtual worlds to improve interactions. Anyway, I hardly know about this matter, I´ll tell you more when I´ll finish one course in wich I hope learning a lot. B. We all explore new technologies, some grab our attention more than others, some seem revolutionary, others simply bore us. Tell us about that new tool, or set of tools, you have just discovered that really excites you, talk about the potential it has to change your work. What do you want to do with it?
I´m amazing with the interactive digital whiteboards. I´ve had the opportunity of using them every day in my classroom, and really I think it´s not only a matter of add technology, it´s a qualitative jump. Otherwise, I really like the philosophy of the "embeed code"; I mean the possibility of adding in one web, in Moddle, in one blog,.... some material from other context, like applets, ..... and no matter if you are not an expert. C. Do you see yourself as a pioneer? Do you think you are more innovative than others in your organisation? Do you think your organisation is lagging behind? Tell us how you feel about this? Not really, I don´t feel myself like a pioneer, but I need to improve my capacity of being innovative. Because of my work, I have to enhance teachers skills to make their puplis competents, not only to absorb tons of knowledge without any context. My organization - public institution - must move faster than ussual to adequate learning to XXI century.
