pring Phone-a-Thon a Success! Our goal was $10,000 this year. We met and

exceeded it, with a total donated of over $18,000. Thank you to this wonderful community for helping us continue to offer quality classes, programs, and entertainment. A special thanks to challenge grant donors Kate Schaffner, Rick & CJ Theis, Jerry & Suzanne Knecht, Jan Kahdeman & Brian Purcell (financial advisor with Morgan Stanley), Richard & Trish Power, and to Harmony Farm Supply & Nursery for the $10 gift cards given to those 50 generous donors who gave $100 or more. A big final thank you goes to Kathie & Frank Mayhew for their very generous surprise donation during this important fund-raiser. We LOVE West Sonoma County!!

AST CALL: Ride the Tour d’Organics on August 9: Perfect

for families, experienced riders, and everyone in between. Ride through those famous Sonoma County hills. Stop at local organic farms (the peaches at Dry Creek Peach are not to be missed!). Routes from 16 miles to 100. Our road support is the best. The After-Party is totally fun – and open to riders and non-riders. Lagunitas beer, wine, hard cider from Three Ox Farm, music with the Wat’s Up Trio and The Rhythm Rangers, fabulous food courtesy of Rob Hogencamp, new head chef at Sonoma West Medical Center, and some very West County vendors and exhibitors. As an added bonus, this fund-raiser supports the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, which serves the recreational, enrichment, and entertainment needs of West Sonoma County (ALL OF YOU!). Don’t miss it! There is still time to register.
