In 2012, safety Darwin Cook finished fourth on the team in tackles and looks to finish his career with a strong senior season. He finished with 75 tackles, including 56 unassisted tackles, a sack, three tackles for loss, five pass breakups, an interception and tied for the team lead with Karl Joseph with three forced fumbles. Cook had double-figure tackle performances against Oklahoma with 10, including seven solo stops, and Syracuse with 11. He had four solo stops and two forced fumbles against Maryland.
