Radio Broadcast Information Kyle Wiggs Play-by-Play Kyle Wiggs begins his 11th season as the play-by-play announcer of Mountaineer baseball. Wiggs is a sports anchor for West Virginia Radio Corporation and the Mountaineer flagship stations WAJR-AM and WVAQ-FM in Morgantown. He also is the host of the statewide MetroNews broadcasts Coliseum Countdown and Point After radio shows. Wiggs also is a part-time host of the nightly Statewide Sportsline and does play-by-play for high school football, basketball and baseball including state championship events. Wiggs also is the host of the weekly radio show Big 12 Today in the fall that airs statewide before every WVU football broadcast on MetroNews. In addition to the baseball broadcasts, Wiggs also works with MSN in the network’s coverage of West Virginia men’s basketball, wrestling and women’s basketball. Wiggs is a native of Belleville, Ill., and a graduate of Southern Illinois University. He has spent the past 17 years in West Virginia covering the Mountaineers.

Ernie Galusky Analyst Ernie Galusky is entering his sixth season as an analyst for Mountaineer baseball broadcasts. The Masontown, W.Va., native currently serves as the Director of Baseball/Softball at Pro Performance Rx, a position he has held since 2004. Galusky most recently served eight seasons (2004-11) as the head coach of the Morgantown Post 2 American Legion program. He led the team to three American Legion state championships and qualifying for four National Regional Tournaments. Galusky owns a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Davis & Elkins, while also obtaining a master’s in athletic coaching education from WVU.
