WVU averaged 12.3 yards per punt return, No. 1 in the BIG EAST and No. 16 nationally. The Mountaineers averaged 23.7 yards per kickoff return, ranking No. 3 in the BIG EAST and No. 25 in the nation.
Overtime Games
The 16-13 overtime loss at UConn in 2010 marked the ninth overtime game in West Virginia history. The Mountaineers own a 5-4 record in overtime games. West Virginia played its first overtime game against Pitt in 1997, dropping a three-overtime thriller, 41-38.
