Ohmae Retires From Nike, Inc.
BEAVERTON, Ore., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Nike, Inc. (NYSE: NKE), announced today the resignation of its director Kenichi Ohmae, effective immediately. Mr. Ohmae, a native and resident of Tokyo, Japan, has served on Nike's board of directors since 1994. Although leaving the board, Mr. Ohmae, 55, will continue to provide consulting services to the board and its Chairman Philip H. Knight, who acknowledged his appreciation of Mr. Ohmae's five years' of service on behalf of the company.
