This dynamic, three-day event, which was held Sept. 8 to 10 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Florida, provided a unique opportunity for Sotheby’s International Realty professionals to network and share best practices with their colleagues from all over the world. “The Global Networking Event provides a great value to our firm,” said Paul E. From LA’s GNE I received a referral from a Beverly Hills broker who went to school with a colleague in Larchmont, this year I was able to connect a broker from Toronto to a NYC broker I am already connected with.
It’s great being able to connect the dots in our broker relations.

This was my SECOND time attending the GNE. I always gain a few golden pieces of information to carry with me going forward.
I’m planning to employ Tony Dolcemore’s 5 day script for keeping lead router buyers engaged, and Liz Bentley’s EQ tips. Other classes reinforced what I already know, but sometimes overlook. And it is always GOOD TO RECONNECT with colleagues from the Julia B. Fee and William Pitt family in a fun environment and make new connections from outside the area.
I ALSO LOVED PAT RILEY!
Even though he didn’t speak to real estate per se, I found it very ENJOYABLE and INSPIRATIONAL. I have a son who is an avid basketball player and I have always been a big Pat Riley fan, and I decided to attend the GNE this year in part because I saw that he was the headline speaker! Truly!
