STAY IN TOUCH! Cleopatra John, a Scout from the Uganda Scout Association made a presentation of U-report, a project of the Association in partnership with the UNICEF where U-report, which is a social mobilebased communication tool, has been able to reach most of the young people in hard to reach areas in Uganda. Using the platform, the young people are able to send out and receive topics, questions that are from all areas of life e.g. health, economy social issues among others. The meeting that took place at Georgetown University in Washington D.C asked governments and partners to sign ‘A Promise Renewed’, a pledge to work towards greater child survival. The event promised to influence development thinking and action on a wide range of critical issues. -CONGRATULATIONS SCOUTS SOUTH AFRICA FOR THE GREENING THE FUTURE AWARD!
