WOMEN IN COMEDY FESTIVAL 2014 GREATER MANCHESTER SPONSORED BY

WWW.WOMENINCOMEDY.CO.UK The Women in Comedy Festival is a cross-collaboration between the growing number of women’s comedy producers, performers and supporters, spearheaded by Hazel O’Keefe founder of Laughing Cows Comedy and Dulcet Sounds, co-ordinated by the Women in Comedy Crew of volunteers and supported by Laughology this years main sponsors and Ruby Star Associates.

The Women In Comedy Festival celebrates just that, women in comedy – the stand-ups, the singers, the sketch actors, the filmmakers, the writers and other funny women who are currently making their mark in the world of comedy. It gives women a place to perform, network and exchange ideas, and it’s something I’m incredibly pleased and proud to support and be a patron of. Here’s to a great festival – and many more to come.” Jo Caulfield festival patron

“It always surprises me when people offer an opinion about me being funny in relation to being a woman, as for me, gender shouldn't be something that comes into play in that situation. Anything that works to get rid of that being an issue by putting on funny women is fantastic and the festival is a brilliant thing!.” Isy Suttie festival patron
