STEPPING UP TO SERVE MORE NYC STUDENTS
In September 2018, The Winchendon School NYC campus opened its doors in Brooklyn with 23 students. Rapid growth proved that Winchendon’s educational model was standing out in NYC. Brooklyn’s campus became too small for the demand, and we needed a more central location to attract additional students seeking a Winchendon education. In September 2021, the School moved to a much larger space in Manhattan. In only two years, enrollment growth has surpassed 80 students and is pushing us to expand again!

We are launching a campaign to raise $400,000, to ultimately add an additional 12,000 square feet to our campus. We are working hard to complete the first 8,500 square feet of the space for the opening of school this fall and will then develop the last 3,500 square feet for the fall of 2026. This expansion supports continued growth to 140-150 students over the next three to four years with a goal of 100 students for the 2024-25 school year.

The Winchendon School trustees, MA alumni, parents, friends, and the School itself have provided millions of dollars to support the launch of our NYC campus to get us to the point where we are today.
