GOOD DESIGN CREATES GOOD SPACES Vestre develops, designs and manufactures furniture for different public spaces. Strict requirements on design, choice of materials and manufacture procedures ensure beautiful high quality products with a long lifespan and a minimum of maintenance. In 1947 Johs. Vestre started the company which became the leading supplier of equipment for playgrounds and parks in Norway. Ideas and innovation together with the requirement of excellent quality have pleased people for generations. When developing new products, design and environment are important factors, which have resulted in several awards from the Norwegian Design Council. Steel parts are laser or plasma cut. This is a very accurate and environmentally friendly process with a minimum of waste of materials. The parts are all-welded and dimensioned for long-lasting use and wear, with steel plates from 3-16 mm and steel tubes with a metal thickness of 3,65-6,2 mm. 20

Hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with NS-EN ISO 1461 protects the steel against corrosion. Steel parts can also be delivered hot-dip galvanized and polyester powder coated in optional RAL-colours. 15 years adhesion warranty on polyester powder coated products is given. All mounting elements are made of hotdip galvanized or stainless steel. Standard wooden parts are made of Linax Plus impregnated natural pine. The pickets are made of solid wood, glued and laminated, depending on dimensions and form. We also offer other environmental alternatives. For further information please enter www.vestre.com. BLOC Bloc is a complete bench -and rubbish bin series. The benches are free-standing with a back and can be connected in long rows. Bloc is also delivered with armrests and can be placed as required. The rubbish bins are detached with a concrete base and are delivered in two sizes, with or without ashtray.

BOBOLI BORROMEO REALE The French company Pro Urba manufactures a rich selection of beautiful and robust plant vases for public spaces. The vases are made of glass fibre reinforced concrete ( Glascrete ), which is five times stronger than ordinary concrete and only one fifth of its weight. The products are frost secure and can be treated against graffiti. Draining-holes can be agreed upon when orders are placed. Irrigation system and lifting hooks can be installed in all models.
