2 | Jen Fischbach Sophomore | Pitcher / Infield | 5-0 Camden, Del. / Caesar Rodney (Delaware State) At Delaware State: Made 41 appearances in the circle with three starts as a freshman – went 5-11 with a 4.33 earned run average – struck out 62 batters in 116.1 innings of work – also went 38-for-153 in the batters’ box, batting .248 – hit eight doubles and three home runs, knocking in 18 while scoring 18 more. High School: Four year letterwinner at Caesar Rodney for coaches Mike Shehorn, Steph Wilson, and Casey Sheilor – named First Team All-State and All-Conference as a utility player as a senior in 2012 – named First Team All-State and All-Conference as a third baseman in 2010 and 2011. Personal: Jennifer Lauren Fischbach – daughter of Jim and Beth Fischbach – has three older siblings, Kris, Shawn, and Andy – father, Jim, wrestled, played football, and baseball at Defiance College – majoring in middle level education at Wilmington University, specializing in social science education – the most played song on her iPod is “Young” by Kenny Chesney – her hero is her brother Andy because “he served in the infantry in the marines and got a Bronze Medal of Honor and is now an EMT and firefighter while in nursing school” – her favorite professional sports teams are the Atlanta Braves, Boston Celtics, and the Washington Redskins.

High School: Three year letterwinner on the softball team at El Segundo High School in El Segundo, Calif., for head coach Keith Cameron – played shortstop and left field – also played basketball while at El Segundo. Personal: Miranda Jayne Pedersen – daughter of Robert and Mary Pedersen – has two younger siblings, Rebecca and Robby – majoring in communication while also studying integrated marketing with aspirations of working in international sales – if she could be the head coach of a team for a year, she would coach the Los Angeles Angels – if she could be someone else for a day, she would be Taylor Swift – her favorite cartoon character is Scooby Doo.
