PROTECTION FOR YOUR EYES Our military origin has given us more than two decades experience in protective eyewear, experience which we put into the Harley-Davidson® Performance Eyewear collection. Shatterproof Selenite™ lenses separately, and mounted in their frame, meet ANSI Z87 requirements for high velocity impact and high mass impact. This means eyewear with Selenite lenses are able to withstand an impact from a .25” diameter steel ball travelling at 165 KM/H, and an impact from a 500g. steel projectile dropped from a height of 1.27m. During the ANSI test the lens must not shatter nor pop out of the frame, and the frame itself must also not break, when exposed to the same tough treatment. Before purchasing any riding eyewear, look for the Z87 marking on the frame and temples and the + mark on the lenses to ensure you are getting only ANSI Z87 rated eye protection passing high velocity impact and high mass impact tests. Choosing a Wiley X product you get a pair of riding eyewear that actually precedes the ANSI test, making it a preferred accessory among many motorcycle riders around the world. You will recognize the official H-D® Performance Eyewear by Wiley X by the WX Z87 marking on the frame and temples and WX+ mark on the lenses.

PRESCRIPTION READY More than 95% of all the H-D® frames can be fitted with prescription lenses. As our professional prescription lens partner, we have chosen Shamir, whose AttitudeTM lenses are specifically developed for our 8-basecurve H-D® frames. The result is individually customized lenses that offer crystal clear vision in any given situation, while providing the same crucial protection as the nonprescription lenses developed by Wiley X. The RX program enables simple ordering and delivery of single vision (Shamir Smart AttitudeTM) and progressive (Shamir Autograph AttitudeTM) corrective lenses through your nearest Harley-Davidson® dealership. In our state-of-the-art lens cutting and R&D lab at world headquarters in Livermore, CA, we ensure that the optical precision and protective qualities of our eyewear are of the highest standard in the world. The many bikers, elite military personnel and other professional athletes that have counted on Wiley X for more than two decades deserve no less. All Harley-Davidson® Performance Eyewear by Wiley X models meet or exceed stringent American impact standards. We believe continual improvement isn’t just a goal; it is a requirement. OPTICAL CLARITY AND ACCURACY Meeting stringent ANSI Z87 standards isn’t only about protection; our eyewear is tested to ensure optical clarity and accuracy from the center of the lens out to the periphery. Having a perfect vision in any given situation is crucial, and the optical clarity and accuracy is therefore also a very important part of the ANSI Z87 standard. There must be no distortion from the center of the lens out to the periphery, so Wiley X spent many hours in the in-house R&D lab to secure that. Cutting the lens exactly right is an important part of achieving the perfect result, which is why Wiley X has our own digital lens cutting facility.

PATENTED FACIAL CAVITY TM SEALS Our removable soft foam Facial CavityTM Seals are easily locked onto the lightweight frames to help protect your eyes from wind and debris. Furthermore, the foam will prevent your eyes from tearing up and protect you against long-term eye irritation like Dry Eye Syndrome. Spending time in your garden or heading for the beach, just remove the Facial CavityTM Seal and maintain the envy looks.

LA TM LIGHT ADJUSTING LENSES Many riders find these to be a one pair solution that covers their needs, whether it is for riding at daytime or at nighttime. The advanced technology of the lens makes them go darker the more sunshine (UV radiation), they are exposed to. At night the lens will go almost completely clear making it ideal for night riding because of the optical clarity. The light adjusting lenses are available in grey and copper in the Windbreaker and the Climate Control series. CLOUDY/ SUNNY/ DARK LIGHT

REVOLUTIONARY PPZ TM LENSES Unique to the Harley-DavidsonÂŽ Performance Eyewear by Wiley X, this revolutionary lens technology provides the rider with the glare reducing benefits of a traditional polarized lens without the possible vision distorting pitfalls. This also means that reading your GPS device, mobile phone or the gas pump digits will no longer be a problem - in other words this is the ultimate day riding lens for motorcycle riders. At Wiley X we listen to the riders, so as of 2015 this unique lens technology is also available in a copper color for enhanced contrast and improved perception of the road and other surfaces during sunny and cloudy weather.

LENS OPTION OVERVIEW PPZ TM The ultimate day riding lens. PPZ™ is a revolutionary technology and unique to the Harley-Davidson brand. PPZ™ lenses deliver the benefits of traditional polarized lenses without obscuring road dangers including pot holes, oil, ice and water. PPZ™ lenses eliminate the visual distortion patterns caused by traditional polarized lenses allowing the rider to read GPS devices, mobile phones and all gas pumps. Furthermore, PPZ™ lenses eliminate the rainbow effect behind a full face shield or windscreen. The multi-layer silver flash coating buffers light transitions from light to dark and vice versa.
SMOKE GREY - LIGHT ADJUSTING Darken based on the amount of UV radiation present. As the sun gets lower on the horizon (early morning, late afternoon or dusk) the atmosphere filters the UV radiation and lenses transmit more light to the eye. Because of the optical clarity, these lenses are ideal for riding from dusk into the night. Many riders choose the convenience of having a single glass with LA Light Adjusting lenses for both day and night riding.
COPPER - LIGHT ADJUSTING Enhance contrast using High-Contrast brown pigments. Improved contrast enhances the perception of ground level contours in most light conditions. As with the LA Light Adjusting Smoke Grey Lenses, these lenses darken based on the amount of UV radiation present. Because this lens does not get as clear as its LA Smoke Grey cousin, this lens is not recommended for riding at night.
SMOKE GREY - SLIVER FLASH Provide maximum shade on those bright days. This is the darkest lens in our lens library. The multi-layer silver flash coating buffers light transitions from light to dark and vice versa. The neutral grey color will not distort color perception.
SMOKE GREY Don’t distort color perception because of their neutral grey color. These lenses provide excellent performance on bright days.

PRESCRIPTION Why choose Shamir Attitude™ lenses? The difference between the stock lenses and Shamir AttitudeTM lenses tailor-made for the consumer and especially developed for wraparound frames. Many consumers enjoy all types of athletic activities, some on a professional level and others just as amateurs. Some enjoy an active lifestyle, while a few go for the rush of extreme sports. To succeed, they require enhanced vision and superior eye protection. That’s why Shamir developed Shamir AttitudeTM. A unique lens family developed for wraparound frames, Shamir AttitudeTM protects eyes while effectively expanding vision zones and enhancing peripheral vision. Available as both single vision and progressive (seperat area dedicated for up close vision) lenses and with the same safety standards as Wiley X’s non-prescription eyewear, these lenses are ideal for bikers, who wish to protect their eyes and obtain optimal vision on the open road. Shamir GlacierTM & Glacier Plus® Instead of the HMC coating (standard) you draw benefit from choosing a GlacierTM or Glacier Plus® coating to enhance the lifetime of the lenses. In general Wiley X Europe offers these coatings a lot cheaper compared to other lens manufacturers, so it is money well spend. The GlacierTM coating includes everything from the HMC coating plus: 1. Anti-static layer on the lens 2. External super hydrophobic layer to prevent water marks 3. Oil phobic layer for easier cleaning 4. Double hard scratch coating to provide increased scratch protection ensuring enhanced lens lifetime Shamir Glacier Plus® is an innovative anti-reflective coating, which increases light transmission and reduce glare and reflections for improved optical performance and cosmetic appearance. On top of that a superior anti-scratch layer enhances the lifetime of the lens.
What is Soft Mirror coating? In co-operation with Shamir, Wiley X Europe offers Soft Mirror coating in a number of different colors. The Soft Mirror coating is applied to the surface of the lens in order to limit glare, increase absorption and reduce infrared. Soft Mirror coating is good for snow sports and water activities, but be aware that Shamir’s Soft Mirror is less visually dominant compared to standard mirror coatings.
Why choose Nupolar® Polarized lenses? Wiley X / Shamir Nupolar® Polarized lenses do what no other lens or lens treatment can: • Eliminate blinding glare from reflected light bouncing off surfaces such as water or wet roads • Greatly improve visual sharpness, color contrast and visual comfort • Polarizing filters are not suitable for golf and aviation, and can cause optical distortion when looking through a helmet visor

• Go from olive green/yellow to red brown, a color which is like nothing else we can provide today • The lens is at non-activated state approximately 50-60% tinted and darkens when exposed to UV light, and even inside the car as well – it actually changes in three different stages (see illustration) • What is so revolutionary for this lens is the way it changes color, and the fact that this lens is both light adjusting and polarized at the same time
Why choose transition (light adjusting) lenses? Works well in variable light conditions. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15% GREY - Reduces light intensity without altering the color of objects. Provides most natural color vision but does not enhance contrast. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15% GREEN - Provides a cool, soothing tone to colors. Often used to create the classic look of aviator-style sunglasses. Filters some blue light and enhances contrast in low light conditions. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15% ORANGE - Enhances contrast but will distort colors, so it may not be suitable for activities that require accurate color recognition.
