About us WHM is a free quarterly A4 glossy magazine. It has been established for over 10 years and was relaunched in 2013. The magazine can be found at various locations across the Sussex coast and is also available to read online. We are a community based magazine with all our magazine content created by people who are currently unemployed and looking for work within the creative industries. We also work with local companies and people to bring exciting articles. The magazine is divided into two parts; the first half features local interest stories while the second half is focused on the latest trends such as music, fashion, food, beauty, interiors and travel. Our demographic is a wide audience of readers ranging from 18 - 40 years old who like to keep up to date on current trends, events and interested in the community.
Our ethos WHM is different from other local magazines as we work in partnership with the not for profit company, Proactive Training and Skills Services. Proactive Training and Skills Services was created to help people gain sustainable employment in the creative arts and media industry. Together, our aim is to provide the necessary skills and work experience for people to promote and showcase their work for potential employers. Any profits from WHM’s advertising revenue are used to provide this much needed and unique training.

Circulation distribution
WHM has a print run of 5,000-10,000 copies on a quarterly basis which are distributed across Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Shoreham, Adur, Lancing and Worthing. These venues include Brighton Train Station, colleges/universities, pubs, cafĂŠs, theatres, retail stores, hairdressers and hotels. WHM is continually increasing in popularity and we always welcome enquiries about new distribution points within the Sussex area. Our online presence is growing every day, with over 8,000 visitors a month to our website and over 12,000 impressions a month to our online magazine. Every issue is available to read online and new content is added daily, including the latest interviews, reviews, fashion and food. WHM is very social and we share all our content online. We might post competitions, articles or videos that the students on the course have produced. Not only do we share our own content but we will share, post and tweet what other people have to say too. Social media exposure is included when purchasing advertising or working alongside us.

advertising We offer a fully customisable service to ensure that you are getting exactly what you want. At no extra cost you can use our design services to create the perfect ad for you. Your advertisement will be available in print across the Sussex coast and will also appear on the online version of the magazine. A copy of the magazine will also be sent to you as soon as the magazine is printed.
