Splashdown@Quaywest, Paignton, the UK’s largest outdoor waterpark really comes alive in June when it opens every day. It’s a great place to come with the family; a load of mates over the holidays or maybe a school reward trip. Groups large or small can have a fab time flumin’ the day away on the eight fantastic rides; tumbling tyre rides, twisting body slides and the full on adrenaline rush of the “Devil’s Drop.” What’s more if there are more than 10 people you can save some money if you book 24 hours ahead. All that fluming fun will definitely work up an appetite but the waterpark has Boarders Café to fill the gap groups can get a great value Meal Deal too! What are you waiting for why not call up now for your summer treat?

Don’t fancy the waterpark? Goodrington Sands is just brilliant for a day by the sea; make sandcastles, or play games on the beach or explore the many rock pools revealed as the tide drops. The beach, with its Quality Coast Award, has super facilities and plenty of parking close by. Grab a few sarnies from Sunrise Beach and Snack store and you’ve got a pop-up picnic on the beach. It’s also great for stocking up on seasidy bits too; nets, buckets, souvenirs and swimwear, you name it and you’ll pretty much find it there. Check out couple of special events for the summer: ■ Charity Duck Race and Mad Mascot Dash on 11th June 2011 - sponsor a duck for chance to win some great prizes and help Paignton Zoo’s fundraising efforts. ■ SeaFest 2011 comes to

Goodrington a great event being run by the Seashore Centre - loads of great stuff, live music, food and fishy fun. Facebook has all the latest info so why not pop by the page facebook.com/ splashdownquaywest and say hi and you can sign up to SplashMail too to get the latest news and special offers straight to your inbox. The waterpark offers 2 hour sessions or all-day entry (may be restricted in high season) which allows you to flume and go as you please, as much as you like in one day. Open every day from June and through to September 11th 2011.
