Dear St. Louis County Residents: In response to community concerns about possible health-related issues in residents living around the Bridgeton-West Lake Landfill, the Saint Louis County Department of Public Health (DPH) will be conducting a health survey to assess respiratory health issues of St. Louis County residents to identify health needs that can be addressed. Households are being randomly selected to participate in the survey. Interviews for the survey will be conducted in-person. Interviewers will be in your neighborhood: Monday, February 22, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 9:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Please be aware that DPH staff may be walking and driving through your neighborhood during the designated times. ONLY households that are randomly selected will be interviewed for the survey. DPH staff will knock on doors during the designated times to ask if you are willing to participate in the survey. If you agree to participate, the survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Again, only households that are randomly selected will be able to participate in the survey.
