Honors In order to enhance the academic experiences of students participating in the honors program, interdisciplinary seminars are offered in all divisions of the College. Students not involved in the honors program, but desiring the additional challenge and the rigor these classes offer, may also enroll in these courses under the following conditions: • second semester of the first year or beyond, and • a Wesleyan cumulative G.P.A. of 3.00 or higher or approval of instructor. A department has some discretion to admit one of its majors or minors who has a grade point average slightly below 3.00.

Honors (HON) Gen. Ed. Course Descriptions Goals: To enable Honors and other interested students to explore a designated topic from an interdisciplinary perspective. To build students' skills in critical thinking, laboratory science, quantitative reasoning, and artistic expression. Content: Topics, texts, and assignments will vary from semester to semester. Taught: Offered occasionally. Category: General Education.
