Welcome Thank you for choosing Wendy Updegraff Photography for your custom portrait session. This brochure will walk you through everything you need to know about what kind of sessions are offered and if I am the right photographer for you. Choosing the right photographer is very important and should not be made lightly. Feel free to ask any questions you would like, at any time. I want to make sure you have the best experience possible.
Style I love capturing moments of happiness. I love color and the brighter the better. I love layers and textures. Whether it is a portrait of multiple generations or a baby’s first birthday I want to capture the pure joy of that moment and save it for you for all time. I am incredibly laid back and it is reflected in my photography style. My sessions are relaxed and unstressful. I capture life, as it is happening. I use natural light only for my photographs. I love photographing children because they inspire me to imagine and create in a world that can be very black and white. I love to shoot in both urban and rustic locations and will work with you to determine the perfect location for your session. I would love to photograph you and your family.

Couples Love is all around us and believe it or not, it is very easy to capture in a photograph. Whether you are newly engaged or have been in love for years, I will document that special bond you have for one another. My favorite couples session is the anniversary. Sometimes we get so busy focusing on our busy lives and children that we forgot where it all began. Let me give you a session where you focus on each other and I document it. It will be a gift that you will be able to pass down generation to generation.
God makes the pictures I just take them.
Maternity My all time favorite photograph of my mother is a picture I have of her at the beach, pregnant with me. It is the most amazing blessing and maternity photographs are a gift not only to yourself but also to your children. Let them see the love you had for them before you had ever met them. Feel free to bring along any siblings and incorporate them into the shoot as well. They certainly will be excited about gaining a new little brother or sister. Maternity sessions take place between 32-36 weeks along.

Newborn Becoming a new parent is scary and at the same time the best feeling in the entire world. I want to capture the innocence and newness of your little one. Newborn sessions are held at my home studio and last about 2-3 hours. I let them set the pace of the session and we take plenty of breaks if they or mom needs them. Siblings are always welcome to participate in the session as well. I provide plenty of props but you are always welcome to bring your own. Newborn sessions take place between 4-10 days old.

Family Family sessions are by far the most fun sessions because it is a chance for you to show off your family’s personality. I will work with you to determine what is the best setting for this special occasion, from choosing what to wear to the location. Remember, this should capture memories that fit you. If your family doesn’t go to the beach, don’t have your pictures taken at the beach. If you family enjoys days at the park or hanging out downtown on the river, your session should incorporate that. I will take some classic family posed shots but I also love to take those in between shots where you are interacting and playing and showing how your family expresses your love for one another. Those are the shots that you will cherish forever.

Seniors Senior photographs have come a long way since when you and I were in high school. Long gone are the days of the typical studio prints. Now they are fun and sophisticated and express their personality and interests. Seniors get 2-3 clothing changes and up to 2 different locations during the shoot.

Pricing & Packages Session Fee This fee covers the photographer’s time and talent, a 1-2 hours session at the location of our choosing and the processing of edited images. This fee is in addition to each package price, is non-refundable and is due at the time of booking.
$125.00 Newborn & Maternity Package Options BELLY TO BABY This is a combination of a maternity session and a newborn session. You will receive no less than 5 images from your maternity session and no less than 5 images from your newborn session on a CD. Package fee is divided in half and due at each session.
$500.00 WELCOME TO THE WORLD This session takes place in my home studio and usually lasts between 2-3 hours. You will receive no less than 5 images from your newborn session on a CD. I never make you choose your newborn images; you will receive all of the best images from the session.
$275.00 BABY’S FIRST YEAR This package is made up into 4 sessions, one at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. You will receive 5 images from each session on a CD. The payment will be divided into 4 equal parts and will be due at each session. Additional images may be purchased for $25 each.
$1000.00 Family & Senior Package Options PICTURE THIS This is the smaller package where you will choose your 5 favorite images from the session and receive them on a CD.
$225.00 MINE ALL MINE This is the larger package where you will receive all of the best images, no less than 20, from your session and receive them on a CD.
