Haringtons wins top business award at national industry event

Haringtons salon group has won the Marketing Campaign of the Year title sponsored by Phorest Salon Software at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2021.

Haringtons beat off tough competition from other finalists to be recognised for its inspiring approach to marketing and branding.

Held on Monday 4 October at Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards – now in their 23rd year - reward the hardworking names that have built outstanding salon businesses, helping to make British hairdressing the most respected in the world. From standout salons and dynamic teams to groundbreaking innovations and trailblazing individuals, HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards are an annual celebration of business brilliance.

Haringtons reached the finals after submitting a detailed online dossier outlining the innovative methods they use to attract, engage with, and retain clients. Judges praised a clear marketing strategy, strong branding and consistency.

On being announced as the winner, Nikki Neale (head of brand and marketing) commented: "It feels brilliant to win - this is our first year doing marketing for Haringtons and we’ve come a really long way in that time - we were up against massive competition so it’s a huge honor to win! Nobody in the marketing team has a hairdressing background – instead we bring the customer's perspective to the forefront of everything we do - it’s critical to understand what our clients want when they come into a Harington’s salon, so that we not only make people look good, but make them feel amazing too!"

Jayne Lewis Orr, Executive Director of HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards said: "Haringtons has demonstrated an exciting and unique approach to marketing and a brilliant brand strategy. From successful campaigns to a clear vision of who their customer is, their success in this area is both admirable and inspiring."

Launched in 1998, HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards have previously honoured names including Lee Stafford, Trevor Sorbie and TONI&GUY. A total of 16 trophies were handed out at the event.
