Youth

Friends & Supporters Event

On 4 October, Wendover Youth Centre held a friends and supporters event to showcase the work the Youth Centre has been doing at the centre and within the community. We took the opportunity to repeat some of the key messages from the virtual AGM as well as displaying our vision, an update on the youth activities we provide and the work/projects we have been doing in with the Wendover community (further details can be seen at www.wendoveryouth.co.uk). It was a fantastic evening and thank you to everyone who attended for their continuing involvement in attending, supporting and running the Youth Centre! We were particularly delighted to make a presentation and deliver some words of thanks to Mary Duly, who retired as Secretary earlier in the year.

We would like to thank the whole community for their donations and especially St Mary’s Church, Wendover Junior School and Wendover Parish Council for supporting the week. There was a total of 429 kg of food donated. All the food donations will go to people within our community who are in need.
