Harewell House Farm, Dacre Banks, Harrogate, North Yorkshire HG3 4HQ (open to the public by appointment only) T: 01423 781 842 W: www.whittakersgin.com Whittaker’s Gin was founded by husband and wife Toby and Jane Whittaker in 2015. Their distillery is at their family home Harewell House Farm, Harrogate which is nestled amidst the wild, rugged, rolling pastures of Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. Their London dry gins are small batch distilled in their bespoke stills called Jezebel named after their daughters Jessica and Isabella which were made in Yorkshire and the water used in the products is drawn on site having filtered through the granite and limestone off the moors.

THE YORK GIN SHOP

T: 01677 426 467 W: www.masonsyorkshiregin.com The gin that started it all, the whole Yorkshire gin craze.. Launched by husband and wife, Karl and Cathy Mason. The aim was simple, create a gin that stood out from the crowd, was unique, had more character and essentially more taste. Two years after launching on World Gin Day, the range was extended with a Lavender and Tea Edition. Further special editions have since been added to complement the range, including Peppered Pear, Steve’s Apple and Slow Distilled Sloe. International recognition has been

plentiful, they have over 60 awards to date. In a crowded market place Masons Yorkshire Gin stands out as being a premium gin that represent something unique. Unfortunately in April this year, Masons Distillery was involved in a fire. Nevertheless Karl, Cathy and the team have been relentless and show no signs of slowing down. We believe Masons only have exciting things to come in 2019. To pick up a bottle of Masons award-winning gin, head to their website to see a full list of stockists.

The Slingsby Spirit of Harrogate Gin Experiences are fast becoming a must-do for locals and tourists alike. Dublin has its Guinness Brewery tour and Edinburgh its Scotch whisky tastings, now Harrogate’s Gin Experiences are on the map too. Behind the venture are entrepreneurs Marcus Black and Mike Carthy, who run £30m drinks company ICB, but wanted to create a premium artisan brand. They spent a year developing their idea before launching Slingsby Gin in September 2015 - named after William Slingsby who discovered the first spa water well in Harrogate in 1571.
