about me I am a product designer based in Taiwan, Taipei where I current work for NOVA Design international on various product designs. I am a self-motivated person and I like challenges. My strengths come from my energy and my ability to find the fastest, most efficient way to get my work done. I would prefer to stay within my specialty, so I am looking for a position with a product development firm. I began my career at Priority Design in Columbus as a Co-Up Designer where I interned. This internship helped me get started and involved in the field I dreamed of. A study between the user’s needs, product specs, and environmental concerns are the first step and also the most difficult parts in the design process. This process can take you down many paths if you are willing to follow it through to completion. It is always a challenge and struggle however, it always gives you something in return. During my internship, the brain-storming sessions were held with other designers. This training and practice allows me to understand the trends of the market. In a group format, you learn how others process and think through the designs, this allows me to learn and utilize more techniques. The most important part of the design process is the end results, delivering the finishing project to the clients. No matter what challenges have been faced during the design process, the moment a customer receives and loves a design is the highlight for me. The design industry in Taiwan has been blooming and has been noticed around the world. I have received valuable in-field experience working at NOVA design for the past two years. As a product designer with NOVA, my job is to create something extraordinary which includes research, d esign concept sketch, 3D model making, branding strategy outsource connection, and customer service. It is important to communicate with clients in order to complete project effectively and efficiently. Design for me is a lifestyle, it is a universal study. It is the study of not only a product, but it includes the human factor and is user oriented. It includes strategic planning and multiple other resources and steps. It is my belief that to continue growing and learning in this field and to achieve my goals, I am willing to take the next steps in my career. I would love an opportunity to discuss design with you.
