f you don’t mind having a little bit of a flutter, and you love a night at the harness racing, then the United Way Penrith Community Fund Casino and Harness Racing Night is just for you. And even more importantly, participating in the night on August 1 will assist people in need in the Penrith community. To raise money for the 2013 Winter Appeal supporting various local charities in the Penrith area, the casino and harness racing night will be held at the Penrith Paceway. It follows the enormous success of the event last year, which raised vital funds and had everyone walking away with a smile on their face. On the night, participants will be invited to take part in the frivolity by trying their luck at various casino tables, enjoying a lavish smorgasbord dinner as well as beer, wine and soft drinks and the highlight of the evening, the harness racing. Tickets to this event are just $100 per person or $800 for a table of 10. You will feel as though you have walked into Casino Royale with the dress code for the night themed “007”. The United Way Penrith Community Fund is also looking for sponsors for the event. For further information or to register, contact Gai Hawthorn on 0437 506 517 or visit www. unitedwaypenrithcommunityfund.org.au.
