The Windsor-Essex County Real Estate Board is the oldest Real Estate Board in Ontario and the second oldest in Canada. We were incorporated on April 12, 1918 as The Border Cities Real Estate Board, with a Membership of twenty-five (25) Brokers. This name was changed to The Windsor Real Estate Board on May 5, 1942. On October 27, 1971, the South Essex Real Estate Board and The Windsor Real Estate Board amalgamated to become The Windsor-Essex County Real Estate Board. Today, The Windsor-Essex County Rea l Estate Board ser vices over 850 Members. The Board’s 9 full time staff ser vice Members from a state of the art facility located at 3020 Deziel Drive. This new facility, built in 2006 includes a fully equipped computer classroom and a modernly equipped Board Room for hosting Committee meetings and various educational courses. Guided by a 9-Member Board of Directors, WECREB strives to continuously deliver the highest quality of informati on and ser vices. We continually abide and live up to our Mission Statement, which is: “ The Windsor-Essex County Board of REALTORS® is recognized as the voice and source for real estate by providing education and essential ser vices to maximize professionalism and business opportuniti es of our Members so th ey are able to make a vali d contribution to our Communities.”
