PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESOURCE GUIDE

Professional Development Resource Guide Developed by the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion The CDEI (Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) is committed to facilitating opportunities for faculty and staff to collaborate and exchange innovative ideas and promising practices to remain informed on the most recent developments in higher education. Whether new or seasoned, there are countless professional learning opportunities available for you. These learning opportunities provide a space to share insight, make contributions to education, and network with other educational professionals in higher education and beyond. Actively participating in your own learning can serve as an excellent means for faculty, staff, and administrators to stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and research. In addition to conferences and workshops, we believe it is vital to find other learning resources that explore DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) for personal and professional growth. This guide will provide you with text, podcasts, and webinars to explore. By engaging in this learning, you gain a deeper understanding of the impact DEI has on students, colleagues, and our Emmanuel College community. This guide provides you with the opportunity to seek out resources, as it is essential to maintain an open mind and consider a broad range of diverse perspectives. While the list of resources in this guide is an excellent starting point, there is no limit to your learning.
