Washburn University School of Business ‘Best’ by The Princeton Review for fourth year For the fourth consecutive year, the Washburn University School of Business has been named an outstanding business school by The Princeton Review. The New York-based education services company features the school in the 2011 edition of “The Best 300 Business Schools” (Random House/Princeton Review). “The Best 300 Business Schools” has two-page profiles of the schools and their master of business administration programs, with write-ups on their academics, student life and admissions, plus ratings for their academics, selectivity and career placement services. In the profile on Washburn, the Princeton Review editors noted that the Washburn MBA program cited a good peer network, small classes and engaged and accessible faculty as assets. It was stated that the good mix of tenured academic professors and adjuncts currently working in the industry provides a very good real-world perspective in many classes on business issues and is beneficial in forging contacts with businesses in the community.
