WELCOME

We can’t believe it’s been a year since we started to reopen.

There have been a lot of changes to the building since last Autumn, so, a little later than planned, we’re having an official re-launch. We’re showcasing our building from Thu 6 – Sun 9 October - please do join us for our Warwick Arts Weekender. The Weekender is more than a great programme of live events; it’s about creating an open house, where everyone feels welcome and everyone leaves with great memories. You are warmly invited. A must-see of the weekend will be the ever popular Black Voices who will be curating an evening of music and voice for our opening weekend. A highlight this season will be a new co-commission by Chunky Move and Restless Dance Theatre - two Australian dance companies collaborating for the first time to make a new work. The latest exhibition in our gallery is the timely and thought provoking Radical Landscapes, featuring some of the biggest names in modern and contemporary British art, including 2022 Turner Prize nominees Ingrid Pollard and Veronica Ryan, and 2004 winner Jeremy Deller.

This season, we’ll also be launching our ALWAYS FREE FOYER activities - take a look below. We want to welcome you in, providing loads of opportunities to make things, do things or just relax. Read on for the other events in store – from BBC Young Jazz Musician Xhosa Cole, K-Music sensation Dongyang Gozupa, inspiring new works from Gecko and Motionhouse, while Fuel Productions bring us another Warwick Arts Centre co-commission, A Dead Body in Taos by David Farr (The Night Manager). We host Sue Barker, Tim Peake, and The Unthanks, while our orchestral series boasts a warm first time welcome to one of the best violinists in the world, Maxim Vengerov. Finally, the Autumn closes with the return of family favourite Stick Man as our annual Christmas show.
