Why Are You a Wilson Student? “I don’t want to go anywhere else.” “It’s where I fit.” “I’m nature-y.” “Because I love squirrels, and I searched for a school this small, loving, and hardworking. I wanted to entwine home, work, and education. The Triad fit me well. I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. Passion is prevalent at Warren Wilson.” “I don’t fit in, just like everyone else.” “I never get bored.” “I love the mountains.” “Where else would I have actually gone to college?” “I am not a Wilson student, a Wilson student is me.” “What else could I be? This place calls me.” “To live in an open community in the mountains where I am not afraid to express myself.” “For the Triad.” “Because I care. “I was diagnosed with breast cancer during winter break of my senior year, and the community at WWC helped me recover from emergency surgery and continues to support me with well wishes, prayers, lifting heavy things, and so many other things. How Has Warren Wilson Changed You? “I learned to take risks.” “I am more aware now.
