STEVEN LIN March 11, 2016

Despite losing his eyesight at the young age of 11, Justin Kauflin has gone on to become an awardwinning jazz pianist and one of the subjects of the celebrated Quincy Jones-produced documentary Keep on Keepin’ On about his relationship with his mentor, legendary jazz musician Clark Terry.

Pianist Sean Chen, recent winner of UPenn’s eminent 2015 Annenberg arts fellowship for artists on the verge of breakthrough, won over fans and critics alike at the 2013 Cliburn Competition as the first American to earn a Cliburn award since 1997.

Young Taiwanese-American pianist Steven Lin impressed many with his unshakeable focus as he famously played through a 6.5 earthquake during a competition in Japan. The New York Times recently hailed, “His playing [is] immaculately voiced and enhanced by admirable subtleties of shading and dynamics.”

“The words are secondary and the secrets are primary. That’s what interests me most.” —MIKE NICHOLS

IN CELEBRATION OF FRANK SINATRA’S 100TH BIRTHDAY November 13-14, 2015 His smooth baritone voice rocketed him into fame, but Frank Sinatra’s wide range as an actor in over 60 films was equally extraordinary, earning him the nickname “One Take Charlie” for his spontaneous, instinctive acting style. To celebrate Ol’ Blue Eyes’ 100th birthday, we present a selection of his films.

HONORING MIKE NICHOLS March 12, 2016 Join us in a tribute to the iconic work of director Mike Nichols, adored by audiences and critics alike for films such as The Graduate, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Postcards from the Edge and Angels in America. One of the very few people who have been awarded an Oscar, a Tony, an Emmy and a Grammy, Nichol’s career has achieved landmark status both on Broadway and in Hollywood from the 1950s through 2014, the year he passed away.
