The University
For many years, the Vanderbilt football team has been an academic achievement leader in the Southeastern Conference and NCAA. In 2008, the Commodore program received the American Football Coaches Association Academic Achievement Award after graduating 95 percent of its 2001 recruiting class. It was the third time for Vanderbilt to claim the award. Vanderbilt topped the SEC in 2010 graduation success rates released by the NCAA.
