issuing authorities, and it’s projected that IPv4 will be fully tapped out in Europe and North America by August of this year, with Asia, Africa, and South America following within two years. Once all of the IPv4 addresses are used up, that’s it. No more growth is possible on the Internet using IPv4, because there are no more unique IP addresses available. We have been aware of this problem for years, and a solution has been created. But its implementation among ISPs and various routers around the internet has been slow. That solution is called IPv6, and it will be the subject of the final part of our series on the Internet Protocol.

Sapphire Changes Upcoming HD 7970 Toxic and VaporX Models to HD 7970 GHz Edition Source: http://vr-zone.com/articles/sapphire-changes-upcominghd-7970-toxic-and-vapor-x-models-to-hd-7970-ghz-edition/16379.html June 22nd, 2012

What's in a name change? Well, apart from ≥1 GHz GPU and ≥1.5 GHz memory clock speeds, the SKU introduces PowerTune with Boost, a feature touted to be comparable to NVIDIA GPU Boost, although it functions in a markedly different way, as we found out, in our review. The shift to the new SKU could also give Sapphire's new models the advantage of being based on something recently announced and proven to be generally faster than the GTX 680. In its press release, Sapphire also stated that the new Toxic and Vapor-X (Atomic) models will be announced "within the next few weeks."

We knew from way back in December 2011, that Sapphire is working on custom-design Radeon HD 7970 graphics card models with some crazy factory-overclocked speeds. The company today reiterated that it's working on some of those models, but that the SKU is changed from HD 7970 to HD 7970 GHz Edition. A little more than a name change is behind the announcement. AMD Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition Review - Tahiti's Boost from Overclocking and Drivers Source: http://vr-zone.com/articles/amd-radeon-hd-7970-ghz-editionreview--tahiti-s-boost-from-overclocking-and-drivers/16362.html June 22nd, 2012

Today's review will focus on how the official increased clock frequencies of the 7970 GHz edition aka Tahiti XT2 1050MHz on the core (13.5% increase from 925MHz) and 1500MHz on the memory (9% increase from 1375MHz), help peg back or increase the performance delta over Nvidia's GTX 680 Kepler. We run a plethora of benchmarks on the latest beta drivers (Catalyst 12.7 and 304.48) from both camps, sometimes with interesting results to report. Earlier today, AMD announced the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition, a new SKU that is touted to be faster than NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680, enabling AMD to retake the single-GPU performance crown. We also learned that most of these HD 7970 GHz Edition cards will be sold by its various add-in board (AIB) partners. The biggest such AIB partner, Sapphire, soon followed up on AMD's announcement with one of its own, stating that the HD 7970 Toxic 6GB and Vapor-X (Atomic) series graphics card models it's working on, have been modified, and that they will carry the HD 7970 GHz Edition GPU.
