Lenovo revealed a new Windows 8 tablet, and demonstrated it to Engadget at Computex today. The tablet has been unofficially titled "ThinkPad", with no relation to the Android tablet of the same name. The tablet boasts a 10.1 inch screen with a 1366x768 pixel resolution and has two webcams - an 8 megapixel camera on the back, and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Riders of Rohan, the fourth expansion for Turbine's free-toplay title, will launch on 5 September as a digital download, increasing the level cap from 75 to 85 and adding a ton of new content. The biggest feature of the game will be mounted combat, where players will employ larger War-steeds that level up and have skills and traits, adding substantial new gameplay options to the game. Players will be able to fight from atop their horse in special areas of Rohan and the horse itself will also fight, kicking and biting like any loyal steed would.
Lenovo officially confirmed the tablet to CNET, and explained that the device was cooperatively developed by Microsoft, Intel and Lenovo. The representative speaking said the tablet will offer "great battery life, responsive touch performance, and great multimedia features." While there were no official details mentioned regarding other specs like the processor, Engadget believes that the tablet uses a type of Clover Trail processor and that the battery could live for ten hours on a single charge.
You might think this gives players an unfair advantage over enemies on foot, but enemies are mounting up as well, leading to roving warbands, which will give mounted players a run for their money throughout the Plains of Rohan.
There is no marketing information regarding the tablet no name, no pricing, and no market ETA. This is because Windows 8 has not been released on the market yet. When it does, there will be a veritable slew of other tablets besides this one to choose from. Windows 8 is being designed with a "Metro" interface that will be available on both PC's and tablets.
