VOL NETWORK

For more than 50 years, the Vol Network has served as the main communications link between University of Tennessee athletics and its fans. Since 1989 Host Communications operated the Vol Network and managed the media and marketing rights for University of Tennessee athletics. Entering his 11th season, Bob Kesling is the play-by-play voice of Tennessee football on radio and the host of "Vol Calls" and "The Lane Kiffin TV Show." He is a four-time recipient of the "Sportscaster of the Year" award for the state of Tennessee. Former All-SEC defensive back Tim Priest serves as the Network's color analyst, and former Vol offensive lineman Mike Stowell (1989-92) returns for his third season as sideline reporter. Studio host John Wilkerson along with Brent Hubbs, Chip Kain and Will Overstreet contribute to the "Kickoff Call-In Show" beginning 90 minutes before each game.

The Vol Network’s Thursday night football preview show “Big Orange Countdown” returns for its third season in 2009. The show originates live from the Wild Wings Cafe in West Knoxville and is heard in most of the major markets in the state and airs from 8-9 p.m. ET / 7-8 p.m. CT.
