Fresno State Winer y Fresno State has been producing quality wines since 1997, and quality graduates for decades. Not only is the Fresno State Winery known for being the first winery on a university campus with a license to produce and sell wine, it is also recognized for the role it plays in preparing students for careers in the wine industry. While receiving a strong foundation in the science of wine from our faculty and instructors, our students also have the unique opportunity to actively “experience” winemaking under the direction of our winemaker, John Giannini.
