Organised by Make It York and sponsored by First with support from York BID this annual Festival is our way of saying a HUGE ‘thank you’ for the warm welcome you give to York’s 7 million visitors. Now in its 22nd year, it’s a great way to discover York’s visitor attractions for free. This year you’ll have the chance to explore behind the scenes at a number of venues not usually open to the public plus some great dining and retail offers. We hope you enjoy the weekend! How do I take part? York Residents’ Festival is open to all York Residents who have a valid YorkCard or Student ID - you’ll need one card per person to gain free admission to attractions and benefit from the special offers 02 | Attractions

Remember that for some of the attractions, tours and events you’ll need to prebook and that some venues have limited free tickets and operate on a first come, first served basis. Please check the details for each offer carefully. Entry will all be granted to those with valid York Student ID (University of York, York St. John University, York College and Askham Bryan College).
