The Tempest Anderson Hall is a 295 seated theatre style auditorium within the Yorkshire Museum in York Museum Gardens. The Hall is ideal for holding lectures, presentations and seminars. It has a 3.5 x 7 metre projection screen and AV equipment. The Hall is available daytime and evening and can be used in conjunction with the Yorkshire Museum and Hospitium for workshops and evening events. The Yorkshire Museum situated in York Museum Gardens can accommodate drinks receptions for up to 300 people and small intimate dinners for up to 30 people. The award winning York Castle Museum, famous for housing some of the ďŹ nest collections in the country offers a wonderful setting for evening dinners, receptions and buffets. The recreated Victorian Street, Kirkgate, is our most famous attraction and never fails to delight, with its cobbled street and genuine shop windows packed with every day goods from the past. York Art Gallery is home to 600 years of British and European art. The venue offers a contemporary setting for evening events.
